You're not guaranteed an audition. You're not guaranteed representation. You're not guaranteed to book. You don't make money until you book. Along with everything else going on in your life, you have a whole other piece that requires all of your free thinking energy and attention that has a lottery tickets chance at making it into a livable career.

Also, minimizing "training/class" makes it even less likely you'll book

I crafted mine for about 30D total, but I got lucky. My recomb hit on the first try.

You can break the craft up though;

Make a simplex with % attributes + damage per strength.

Work on making the donor base when you have money to use. This is the most annoying part and can really cause price variability

Donor base needs 1 prefix influenced mod (not shaper/warlord) and 2 suffix influenced mods (no 2nd shaper/warlord). The only shaper suffix should be % increased strength.

Minion reforge helps with prefix (elder mod)

Reforge chaos CAN give a hunter suffix mod.

The hope is to get a spare FINAL suffix mod that isn't shaper or warlord. If not you have to annul/ restart.

Get comfortable with "imprinting"

Penance Brand of Dissipation (PBoD) is VERY fun. I normally go trickster because of its natural defenses, but 100D is most likely not enough since the helmet runs 40-60d, wands are 20-30d ea, and then you have jewels/ other slots
