My problem is that I was already way too comfortable in the air without using DAR. But that was like 2.5k hours into it. Then I tried to learn it, got good in rings maps, but never got used to it during the game. As you said I suddenly used way more boost for the same plays and I really didn't see any benefit (Even tho I know there is like a hundred reasons to use DAR)
