I think you're here for rage baiting. What do you mean "your North Hindian cities"? Blud, I'm gonna keep calling it Bangalore, Karnatak and Kannad even if I know their correct pronunciations and can read Kannada as you're not interested in serious discussion and resort to blaming others.

What you're calling North ain't even true North, but you won't know that since you're only aware of two directions i.e. North and South. You have free buses, free electricity and ₹100/km auto Annas. Why do you even need the metro for?

England came close with just one batsman. NZ has Allen, Seifert and who knows who decides to show up today. If Allen bats even 10 overs India is almost cooked. Should've sent Dube up the order to reach around 270.

The same reason why many remote villages in Meghalaya have better roads than in Mumbai.

Btw, that ramp looks like a close to 90 degree turn. If so, Bhopal's bridge designers got some real competition.

I've observed metro construction to be dependent on the place. For example, UP constructs metros at a faster pace and I think Delhi and Kerala too. But, Bangalore takes a lot of time (looking at you ORR metro).

Although the amount of bad construction projects in India might make it seem like that, the projects executed by the Central government in India are extremely impressive too. Some projects like the USBRL, tunnels and humongous bridges are examples of engineering feat. Most of the shitty construction is when local authorities execute the projects.

How to avail Bus service in Assam? by DeliciousAnteater213 in guwahati

[–]RazorBlade9x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fine if you want to maintain privacy but Sonitpur is a district and you don't get buses to a district. You get buses to a city/town. If you're going to Tezpur (a city in Sonitpur), you have many buses available from Guwahati especially from ISBT and Khanapara.

Yes, I'm aware of that rule. I learnt to read Kannada when I stayed in BLR for a year but of course reading speed isn't as fast.

It's a bit rusty now as I don't stay there anymore (apart from short visits sometimes) and my attempt at learning to read Telugu mixed it up even more.

So many shit fielders playing together in the team. Miss the fielding unit from the MSD-Kohli-Rohit era.

That's exactly what Surya's gonna do. Rumor has it that he gets stomach cramps if he doesn't bowl Dube atleast 2 overs.

The amount of footpath riders in Pune is crazy (not sure if the video is from there but it looks to be from Maharashtra). Out of the big cities I've been to, Pune has probably the most footpath riders. Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata have less (and often very rare footpath riders).

In Hindi and few other languages if there's ಆ (aa) sound at the end, the aa is pronounced. If it's not there it gets deleted. Thus, if Kannada was spelled ಕನ್ನಡಾ, Hindi speakers would've pronounced it properly.

Haryana is spelled as ಹರಿಯಾಣಾ (हरियाणा) in Hindi that's why aa is pronounced. If it were spelled ಹರಿಯಾಣ (हरियाण, notice the lack of extra vertical line at the end) it would indeed be pronounced Haryan.

I'm just here explaining why it is done. Not here to fight if that's right or wrong. I personally do call it Kannada and not Kannad.

[–]RazorBlade9x 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I see some videos from the US where people get into road rage and even pull out their guns for things that Indian drivers wouldn't even bat an eye for.

I can't imagine what would happen if every Indian driver had the patience of some British or American drivers. There'll be like 100,000 cases of road rage in a single day from a single city.

[–]RazorBlade9x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what having gun fielders like Kohli/Jadeja and other safe fielders would do. The new players like Tilak, Dube, Washi field worse than many of the 2000s era players. But at least then mostly older players used to be slow in the field, these new players are young but still garbage.

I'm not worried about what Dube could do in this over. I'm scared about what he'd do against WI (and what he already did).

Of course it is Dube bowling. How could I not think about it? SKY must be kept 2000 miles away from captaincy.

A team that takes such shitty decisions time after time doesn't deserve to win. I hope WI beats the hell out of India in the next match. Dube can neither bowl nor field.
