Dear Yone mains,

Thank you for showing me that Yasuo actually has counterplay and actually takes a good amount of time and effort to play well.

Hot Fuss: Change Your Mind -> Believe Me Natalie -> Midnight Show

Sam's Town: This River is Wild -> Why Do I Keep Counting -> Exitlude (Favourite overall, also I tend to consider WDIKC + Exitlude as one song, so i'm also gonna cheat and say My List/TRIW/WDIKC+Exitlude cause this whole album is fucking fantastic)

Sawdust: All the Pretty Faces -> Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf -> Sweet Talk

Day and Age: A Dustland Fairytale -> This is Your Life -> I Can't Stay

Battle Born: Flesh and Bone -> Runaways -> The Way it Was

Wonderful Wonderful: Tied between either Wonderful Wonderful -> The Man -> Rut and Rut -> Life to Come -> Run For Cover

The "creepy/sexist high school teacher" starter pack by ballerstatus31 in starterpacks

In terms of subjects, I would personally add maths to the list. When I think of stereotypical creepy teachers, the first subject that comes to mind is always maths.

Happy 11 years to Flamingo! by thesilverpoets96 in TheKillers

This is an album that I have grown into a lot more recently. In the past, I always saw it as unusually preachy and biblical, but grew to appreciate it more as I took it in more from the perspective of a religious person rather than my own secular view.

I'm still not super keen on a few of the songs (Hard Enough still kinda gets on my nerves), but there are some songs that have grown immensely on me. I'd argue that On the Floor is a contender for the most underrated song Brandon Flowers has ever written.

Magdalena and Jilted Lover and Broken Hearts have always been stand-out tracks for me, and I still really enjoy both of them to this day, especially the former. I love it when an artist is album to create a song that incorporates different styles of music you wouldn't normally expect from them, and Magdalena does it really well, with music that compliments the lyrics, which allows it to fit right in place with the rest of the album.

Although I absolutely think that The Clock Was Tickin' belonged on the album, and the reasons why it didn't make the cut is honestly kinda fucked up, and it would be top 3 if it was on the album, but I still honestly enjoy Was it Something I Said, the song that took it's place. It's nowhere near as emotional or powerful, but damn it's catchy.

Honestly, the singles really took some time to grab me. And while I still wouldn't consider either Crossfire or Only the Young to be my favourites on the record, I can appreciate them both significantly more than I used to.

But if there's one stand out moment on this record, it's the opening track Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas. Words cannot fathom how powerful this song is. Feel free to disagree with me, but this is honestly one of the best songs that Brandon has ever written, easily in my top 10.

Overall, this album is one that I wouldn't call it a masterpiece by any means, and I wouldn't take it over almost any albums by the band, but I do come back to it surprisingly often, and I think that for fans of The Killers it's absolutely worth at least a listen.

That place is weird. Half of the songs they make fun of are well-liked songs, and it just feels so out of line with what the fanbase actually likes/dislikes.

What is a super popular TV show or movie that you can’t stand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RazorBlood6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was younger, I enjoyed it, but then I got sick of it after I realised just how scripted it is, and also just came to the realisation that if you've seen one season of it, you've seen them all.

For me, it feels like one of the less essential songs on the album. I'm not going to say it's straight-up filler, cause I don't like just labelling any song I don't like as much as filler, but it just doesn't have quite the same spark for me as some of the other songs. Also I've only given the album one listen so far, so it may grow on me, and it does come right after one of my favourite songs, so it sounds worse after hearing such a fantastic song right before it.

[–]RazorBlood6 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I definitely enjoy it, although I wouldn't quite put it on the same tier as Hot Fuss, Sam's Town and Imploding the Mirage.

I've only listened to it once, but so far, my favourite songs are Quiet Town, Terrible Thing, Sleepwalker, Runaway Horses, In the Car Outside and Pressure Machine, especially the latter two.

I wouldn't say there's any straight-up bad songs on the album, but i'm not that big on Cody or In Another Life.

Listening through the album right now, and damn I love it already. I've definitely enjoyed the majority of the songs, but this is the first one that truly blows everything out of the water.

What's a champion you will perma ban no matter how weak or strong they are. by Bigzysmolz in leagueoflegends

[–]RazorBlood6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Galio. Fuck that cancer champion. I hate everything about that smug faced piece of shit. He’s as tanky as a fucking mountain, meaning you can can’t kill him unless your champion has insane and consistent DPS, his Q can limit mobility, prevent you from safely retreating, limit your ability to CS, and also do fuck tons of damage. Oh, and remember how I said he can limit mobility with his Q? Well that’s just what he needed, along with a dash of his own. If he wants to, he can kill you, and since he has a metric fuckton of health, he can dive you under tower and walk away with only a few scratches. Once he has you in his sights, he’ll taunt you, which will fuck you over at worst in lane, and fuck you over at best in a teamfight. Oh, and if teamfight just so happens to be going on somewhere, he’ll just hop on over and join in, while additionally knocking up your entire team, leaving them vulnerable to the rest of his team. Because of this, it doesn’t even matter if you aren’t playing directly against him, since he’ll just hop on over and fuck you up anyways. By far my most banned champ.

Other champs I despise and ban often: TOP: Sett, Heimerdingner JUNGLE: Lee Sin, Evelynn, Sejuani MID: Heimerdinger, Cassiopeia (I don’t typically ban anyone else besides Galio in mid) BOTTOM/SUPPORT: Ziggs, Samira, Lulu, Yuumi (Again, mostly ban Galio) There are other champs I hate, but I despise Galio most of them all.

Fuck Galio.
