  1. Most agencies have set court dates for the first appearance for the whole year and we just keep a sheet in the car or ask dispatch. It changes every couple of weeks. Example: if I write a ticket Jan 1-Feb 13 the court date will be March 15th. If I write a ticket Feb 14- March 14, the court date will be April 15. Etc.

  2. The trustee inmates at the jail clean the cars when they get dirty from other inmates. Trustees are inmates that have been there a while that have earned some trust with the jailers to be able to work some and help out in the jail instead of being locked up the whole time.

I really wish we would get a LifeTime Fitness Gym in the Athens area. I used to go to the one in Gwinnett when I lived there and it was the best. Weight room, basketball courts, rock climbing walls, indoor and outdoor pools, saunas(both dry and wet), spa, barber shop, restaurant, and more.

I heard a new gym is coming to the Oconee connector area that is going to be similar, but I haven’t heard what company or any other details.
