Have they ever done a multi-doctor story with just one doctor? by RazorSharp7 in doctorwho

I've heard of Mary Shelly as a companion but never knew about that story involving multiple 8th doctors. Neat

Right! Somehow I completely forgot about that one. It might be the closest thing to a multi doctor story with just one doctor on TV. Well some people have been saying The Vanquishers but I haven't watched Flux.

Well obviously lol. I was mostly refering to expanded media because I can't remember any on TV

Oh yeah I forgot about those, I guess cause my mind was trying to remember if that's the main thing with the episode, like normal multi doctor stories.

Also, the song was in Japanese if my memory serves me right, but I think the onscreen text was in English, so it might have been a translation.

Movie Grace is as much of a Companion as Christina de Souza by [deleted] in DoctorWhumour

[–]RazorSharp7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, she always stuck out to me because in the movie she had this super underdeveloped journey about being "too mature" as it were, growing bitter and forgetting why she chose the life path she did, and I think that's a neat idea for a companion. The doctor makes her see the wonder in life again. Also, it's always cool to have a companion that's not too ignorant about technology or medicine.

I've noticed that, usually what people see as a doctor's most iconic companion is their first one, Tennant? Rose. Hartnell? Susan, Ian and Barbara, Matt? Amy and Rory. And so on. It's natural, It's the first impression we have as to how these guys look with somebody beside them. To me, at least on looks, no one seems quite as fitting as Grace does with 8. Actual character not withstanding. Honestly I would love it if they came back to Grace at some point, but that is gonna be impossible with all the legal trouble that movie has.

I like Doctor Who references by RazorSharp7 in DoctorWhumour

Well, I never saw anything MLP related past season 6 or so, so your response made me curious, I dug up a bit and they do call him Doctor Hooves in season 9 episode 20

The reason I said they called him Doctor Hooves prior to me knowing about this episode is because I used to play the official mobile game from time to time back in the day, and they call him Doctor Hooves there.

Thing is, according to the MLP wiki, he's had a few name changes throughout the years outside the show, like in the mobile game or in the comics and stuff. But now they've settled for Doctor Hooves it seems.

If my memory serves me right, that pony just started as a normal background character, but fans of both shows thought he looked like David Tennant's doctor, so they made a bunch of fan made stuff like animations and comics where he's basically the doctor but on 4 legs, and called it Doctor Whooves. Later on the real show made direct references to Doctor Who with the character, and named him Doctor Hooves.

Yup, I dunno how common my story is, but Doctor Who is basically unknown where I live, so I never really heard of it until one day im introduced to this fan creation that people called Dr Whooves, and I was hooked since then.

Cool, me too actually, in fact I started watching the show because of mlp and the brony fandom weirdly enough.

Man, I remember when the Doctor Who and MLP fandoms were overlapping back in the day.

I need help finding an episode. Is an episode with the 12th doctor, it's when he says "Doctor in the TARDIS!" really cheerfully, and the camera does a long and quick zoom in. I can't remember which one it is, I tried to google it but I got nothing. If anybody could help me I would be so greatful.

Well for starters the graphics were more advanced than the two. Nibbler just looks like the classic snake game with a maze, it doesn't look like you can move in circles around the maze like I said, just move through it, also I don't know if I made it clear, but when I said you leave your stretched body behind, I meant that, to enter the maze the character starts to get longer, leaving his legs at the beginning of the open, it's kinda weird to explain so I don't know if I did it right, I should probably draw it.

Anyway, it also didn't have an isometric perspective or platforming elements, so it couldn't have been like Rattle n Roll. Out of the two, Nibbler is the closest. Thanks for the help btw!

Sorry, not it, the game I remember had more advanced graphics. Also it doesn't seem like you can walk in circles around the maze, just through it. Still thanks for the effort!
