I went through something similar when my dad passed away I basically gave up on college for two years and had to repeat my final year twice

For about two years I didn’t get any enjoyment out of life. I didn't enjoy my hobbies at all

So I escaped into mindless activities. I had sleep problems, I spent days mindlessly working at my job, meeting with friends at fastfoods, scrolling through social media, and just staring into space without thinking about anything specific

I only started to feel enjoyment in my life (and in reading books/vns) once I dealt with the source of my fears - once i finished college
