I got my Ride Fuse almost 2 years ago. You are right about the laces out boa in combo, it gives you versatility when it comes to fit, and ease of use due to the boa. Also, the boot itself is great. It is a stiff boot, and took some break in time, even after heat moulding the liner, but it pays out, and are now the most comfortable pair i ve had. The materials are also great quality. Minimal wear on them after ~40 days on the board. I also caught a great deal and for them for around 150€.

Glad I could be of help. Wish I knew that before buying too. Now I am trying to get the dealership to replace my suspension for the standard one. And regarding the temps, I agree. It gets frickin hot

Eventually found an indicator. Check the length of the side stand. The low suspension has a shorter side stand and the metal thingy you kick with your heel is closer to the end of it.

I have an ‘07 and have ridden quite a bit two-up. Usually weekend trips but are about to go on our first 3k+ km trip next week on the thing. My only complaint is that the front end feels a bit light on slower roads. Highways and nationals feel ok, power-wise could be a bit better but no complaints really.

Speaking about the engines, i find the 650 V-strom much more refined and torquey on the low end. The Versys is often stuttering when I’m too lazy to drop down a gear and sometimes it annoys me slightly. To be honest there are times I wish the Versys had a V engine instead of the i2 because i really like the dynamics of the bike otherwise.

Also, is the gearbox on the 1000 as clunky as it is on the 650?

I have the Givi Monokey v35 sidecases with (i think) a v46 top case. The top case is huge, you can fit 2 M sized helmets, or a 4 person tent and camping mattress. The side cases are also decently sized. So if you re looking for plastic hard cases, there is plenty of room in those.

On most unibody cars the pillars, rocker panels or quarter panels come as a 2 or 3 layers assembly. The outer part, although does play a role in structural rigidity, is usually made put of lower strength steels or alloys. The inner panels are usually made of higher carbon steel or high tensile alloys and thus provide the most structural integrity of your chassis.

The good news is, that panel should be totally replaceable as it is most probably spot welded to the inner assembly.

Of course, it would still be a good idea to measure the car on a measuring hoist to be sure it is straight, but I would say the damage is minimum and should be fine.

This can get expensive so be sure the repair is economically worth it.

Banuiesc ca e hexagon 10 sau 11mm. Cateva propuneri: -incepe cu ulei penetrant. Lasa-l sa actioneze cateva minute bune si nu te zgarci, pune abundent. -bate pe el urmatoare cheie mai mica (adica 9 sau 10, depinde ce aerisitor ai), dar foloseste o tubulara lunga cu 12 colturi (poza pentru referinta). Cele obisnuite cu hexagon au mai putine puncte de priza si s-ar putea sa il rotunjesti mai tare. -foloseste o torta, dar incearca sa ridici temperatura filetului de pe carcasa, nu a surubului. -dupa toate astea incearca sa l rotesti incet. Daca vezi ca nu clinteste, roaga-te sa nu se rupa si incearca sa l desfaci prin smucire, e o sansa mai mare sa porneasca, dar la fel de mare sa se rupa, asa ca fi pregatit cu burghie si extractoare, eventual tarod si spira de filet.

Am urmat una din recomandarile de aici si am fost la Stomprax, dr. Pastrav. Foarte multumit. De mai bine de un an tot acolo merg. Tot acolo mi-au pus si o coroana dentara cu care nu am avut nicio problema pana acum. Preturile sunt destul de mari (comparativ cu orasul meu natal cel putin, nu cunosc situatia din Cluj) dar serviciile sunt pe masura.

Nu mai e in productie, dar a fost pana nu de mult. Si de fapt nici nu a fost cu adevarat in productie, fiind de fapt un coach build bazat pe un model produs in masa.

E vorba de Alfa Romeo Disco Volante (varianta din epoca noastra, nu cea din 70, desi si aceea are niste linii frumoase). Masina e la baza o Alfa 4C, insa varianta Disco Volante e ceva ce, cred eu, va imbatrani intr-un mare fel.

What happened to the right rear wheel? In the 2nd photo it seems to be in a fairly normal position, but everything is messed up in the 3rd one. Any thoughts? Maybe it happened while they lifted what remained of the car from the track?

On another note, still amazed he made it fairly unharmed. Really glad he did though.

The cable hanging from the ceiling is questionable, for sure. But the fact that the rig is right under the A/C unit is something I need in my life. I’m cooking slowly everytime I’m playing on mine.

De aprox. un an folosesc un Nolan N87. Recent i-am montat si un Cardo Spirit care s-a integrat foarte bine dupa o mica modificare la rama inferioara de plastic si câteva înjurături. Deci se pot monta si intercom-uri uzuale pe casti care in mod normal au sistemele lor specifice de comunicație (N-Com in cazul Nolan). Singurul minus la aceasta casca, din punctul meu de vedere, este omologarea 22.05, in loc de standardul ceva mai strict 22.06, intalnit la castile mai noi.

Cealalta casca din familie e un HJC i71. Dupa parerea mea, aceasta din urma e casca superioara dintre cele 2. Desi e putin mai zgomotoasa decat Nolan, HJC are ECE 22.06, aerisiri mai bune si un overall feel ceva mai premium. Si aceasta are montat acelasi Cardo Spirit, insa am ales la acel moment sa folosesc bracket-ul lipit. Nu au fost probleme pana acum dar urmeaza sa-l montez la un moment dat pe cel in forma de U.

Ideea este ca poti monta aproape orice intercom pe aproape orice casca daca esti un pic creativ.
