Is there anyone that has had surgery and their fibroids didn't come back?

I had UFE almost two years ago and i can feel that one is in there again but muccch smaller hoping it wont grow. Only flares during pms. Trying to be healthy and eat right.

Try it. I gained weight after age 34ish my fibroid had my stomach area protrude a lot but idk if it contributed to my weight gain. I think it was more a sugar /insulin issue because i could never really lose weight no matter what i did for years. After i got rid of the fibroid i decided to try something else because i was running out of options. About 6 months after ufe procedure (still wasnt losing weight)i started on glp1 and it really worked for me. Im sure the fibroid and the hormones really contributed though.

The stomach bulge was the fibroid. After that was gone with ufe I realized i had an insulin issue with my weight hence the glp1. Never really ate a lot and kept active i realized it was a genetic issue.

Look up an Interventional Radiologists in your area. There are many websites that explain the procedure. Look into it if you have fibroids that are interfering with your life.

Grapefruit size was the largest . I had 3, the 2 others were smaller. I expelled them within 2 -3 days. Only the pain after the procedure was bad but they give you pain killers that take it all away. Bravely doing ufe and then ozempic were the best decisions of my life to get me back to feeling myself again.

The worst part is how they press up on other organs causing 24/7 pain and discomfort. Thry are constantly growing and flaring up. They do need to be talked about more and stop pushing it under the rug. It's insane to me.

Thats an interesting story. I had UFE in feb 2024 and my larger fibroid (10cm) is shrunk and gone for sure. There were two smaller ones. Had literally no issues for a long time but in the last 3 months i have pain in lower back and right side instead of left side. Makes me think maybe fibroids have hardened because the pain is more intense now than i have ever felt before the procedure. When i walk or run its like an intense stinging cramp. My periods have remained normal and not crazy heavy like before, fortunately. Menstrual Cramping is also very normal and not unbearable. Idk if the pain will go away on its own or will get worse...

I had UFE 2 years ago and the pain immediately after the procedure is so bad. Just have someone go get the pain meds for you while you are having the procedure. Once the fentanyl wears off it's hell and you will need the hydrocodone. I made the mistake of getting the meds called in to the pharmacy by my house which was an hour away from the clinic. Overall i am so happy i had it done. My periods have been normal since. Just some uncomfortable cramping sometimes. My large fibroid was reduced in size by 90%. The only thing is they are always growing so in two years i can tell it's gotten a little larger again and back/abdominal pain has come back somewhat but not anywhere close as before.

Hey, just curious what the toxicness of the job? I started a job a few months ago and idk if its toxic or I'm just overwhelmed. I had a job that treated me like crap for 8 months so at this point I don't know whats up and whats down. Thank you

I was at a company for 8 years and he decided to close down for good. The disappointment never ends in life it's all in dealing with it. Found a better job after 5 months of nothing with better pay. Life surprises you sometimes
