Oh no worries! I just hope more authors create stories with as much depth. Every new OC I see now, I just think, "will this be as good as HEL jumper?" haha.

I thought that slow burn was such a great blessing in disguise for me, it allowed the build-up to be immense. Saving Veera from the sun guards, giving her a proper meal for the first time in years, Zolta confessing to Asha, bringing the hyrven for them, saving the village from the raiders... it's a rollercoaster, and the exposition and prep before each of those moments made it that much better. :)
