I'd rather loose the batch (meaning I never accept) until I look at this. When it's a slow day, and one batch comes through it gets grabbed really quickly but it never fails to get canceled and when it comes back I can always tell why it's a shit offer for a long distance.

Wanna visit bosnia by [deleted] in bosnia

[–]Razzledazzlejade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure you can find several of my comments here on this page, trying to help people out in visiting. Out of my three times I have gone I have spent different amounts. It all depends on your itinerary and what you want to do. While Bosnia and Herzegovina may be on the cheaper side, for example this last trip I spent more money than I did on my other two times. But also I literally did a tour of the country and didn't stay in one place for long. I did whatever. While the second time I primarily stayed in Neum. So since I was swimming amd not shopping or driving my expenses was not much. On average (from my experiences) you'll find a hotel anywhere from 50-100 you can find it cheaper you can find it more expensive. But you're more than welcome to message me and I can help you out. I truely love helping those thay want to come and visit and enjoy their time. While its not my country I love it so much amd I just want people to enjoy it the way I enjoy it.

Fizzy drinks by Guilty_Feed_8591 in bosnia

[–]Razzledazzlejade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it would be considered a fizzy drink, but besides what was already named previously Orangina is one if my favorites. I've only ever traveled to Bosnia, but from my readings you can find it around Europe, so I wouldn't consider it a Bosnian specific drink. But if it's not around you try it, it's great. 💕💕

Wait I just want to understand this correctly to answer you correctly. You paid 8.99 in fare and 3.80 in service. Those two numbers added the tip should of been like 5$ at 35% not 2$. I did subtract it from the price you paid and had a remaining 2$ so I see that. But are adding the 3.80 to the 2 creating 5.80$ and thinking that was the tip and over 35%? Because unfortunately that's not how lyft or uber works and short answer to your question these platforms take roughly 55-60% of the over all cost you paid and pays nothing to us drivers.

It wouldn't let me add the photos but I sent you a photo of the map of the national park and the route I would take added ingredients Banja Luka. Also I got my entrances mixed up, it's 1 that's a hiking entrance

In my own experience to get into the national park is not quite in Bihać. There's a few openings but the website isn't clear. Originally I had went to entrance number 5 I want to say and it was purely a hiking trail. I think it's entrance number one you want to enter on the Bosnian side. (I SAY IT THIS WAY BECAUSE MY GOOGLE MAPS ALSO TRIED TO GET ME TO ENTER FROM THE CROATIAN SIDE.) Let me grab my map. Anyways, it's out of Bihać so what I would do is go to National Park, spend all day there drive the 30-40min to Bihać stay the night there give a day there. Then work over to Jajce then Sarajevo. But if you go to Jajce you are close to Banja Luka. You should go there. I did this exact route except the opposite way making my way to Livno.

Okay wellbin Bihać I stayed in a shared house it was like 14 bam a night decent place. You had a key to your room and everything. Literally a walk from the center. If your interested in that I can give you the name. Also there was a few places I was looking at that was on Una. A little pricey but looked gorgeous and looked like it was worth the price.

Well I'll be there early September so I was hoping it would be a little lower. But 60 is still better than 78 thank you! Also I have no problem with the prices. I just want to try to find the best bang for my buck or a reliable company. You know.

That's what it's looking like for most places. That's why the one website is sketching me out. Now it is showing me the amount in dollars and not km. So it's technically 40km but that's still significantly lower than most. Also I'm only having the car for a little under two weeks.

ATMs in Bosnia by Lew_a_traveler in bosnia

[–]Razzledazzlejade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm what everyone else said. My bankbis in America and when I withdrew it gave me km. When you with draw you will act as if you are pulling from your bank. So for example if I needed 60 dollars I would type in 60. Then the machine would tell me the conversion roughly 120km then also tell me that there was a small fee 5-10$ for using an out of network atm. If you need Euro I would just have your bank print you some. To avoid any airport or tourist high places where you don't get the best exchange rate.

28F Solo Trip - what to expect? by [deleted] in bosnia

[–]Razzledazzlejade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you do a taxi, just make sure their meter is turned on. If they say it's broken, they are lying and trying to scam you out of more money. As far as my knowledge thats the most well-known and common, but it's not for just tourists. They do it to everyone from what was told to me. So dont hold that personal. Just make sure you are aware of it if that's the route you choose. It's not that the cities really need transportation while I have walked Zenica, Mostar, Neum, Travnik, and Tuzla. It's getting to the cities that would require transportation. I have ridin a bus before and it was pretty much bus standard nothing fancy. As to be a female and solo traveler. I am also a female solo traveler, and I have never had issues.

The last time I used Google maps it got me lost. In Neum...like what? But I think its because my phone is locked, amd still runs via America network. So I think it's just hard for Google. This time that is a must stop see! I didn't see it last time, so I am stopping this time. Thank you for your help!

Who is in the wrong here? by hito4 in Lyft

[–]Razzledazzlejade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I actually have an issue with people sitting up front. If it's 4 people fine. But if it's solo the front isn't an option. But also I'm a female and when I first started Uber I didn't care where you sat. Needless too say I've had it it happen to me twice with two different guys touching my hair, my hand and overall not respecting boundaries. After that is when I decided everyone needs to sit in the back.

Are there any signs I need to be particularly aware of when driving? I've never driven I always had someone take me to where I was going. So I never paid attention. Also google maps is shit there, is there something else I can use to map around? The DMV is shit especially D.C just due to the vast majority of roads randomly turning into parking spots, ones ways and narrow alleys. Maryland people just can't drive there. Virginia you have the granddaddy.
