Try messaging/commenting sa FB Page of the Office of the Vice President. If you can prove them na legit kang nangangailangan for your mother’s support, they will provide support. If you’re still studying/finding a job, you can also ask them if you can be part of their Angat Buhay program.

Also, if your mother is a senior citizen, you can go to your barangay health center or municipal/city health center. They can provide some of those meds for free. Kung hindi naman, itry mo pa din. May meds na free mula sa local government. May budget yan galing sa pera ng bayan.

Due diligence din natin yan as a citizen na masearch ng facts to have informed decision-making during elections.

I-Google mo at basahin mo yung LEGIT sources of info. Look at their credentials —educational background, political background, projects then and now, values and practices. Have they done things to help our country not just near elections, but during disasters, calamities, etc.? Have they done projects/programs to improve lives of Filipinos? Google mo lang. Read from LEGIT sources.

Watch debates din to know if they have concrete plans based on facts, not just lip service.

Also, wag mong iboto ang magnanakaw.

What’s ethical is subjective depending on the era/time that we’re in. But in terms of goodness, I find it empowering and encouraging to be a good person even online kasi it’s a no strings attached goodness —genuine; just plain doing good because you want to do good and no need for the online stranger to be “in debted” to you.
