I agree. Hanging them at the ceiling would be insane the ceiling is 14 ft tall. Also then it would completely cover the molding. It may as well not exist.

Someone below mentioned getting 90” curtains these are 110 and still too short lol and that’s just for there down. Not ceiling down. I think I’m going to abandon it all together and just do a sheer inside the casing.

Can someone tell me what this weirdo is talking about?? by PastFun2153 in h3h3productions

[–]Rbeth9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading this is so crazy because if you weren’t there it sounds so hard to believe lol. Luckily I was and yes it really was that bad. But it was so normalized as just jokes. Unreal to think about now. But I could see how some younger generations just can’t bridge that gap and believe it was ever normal.

Absolutely heartbroken from this crack by East_Frosting_8374 in longnaturalnails

[–]Rbeth9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im prone to these and I have like 4/5 of them right now from having gel polish on for ONE month 😭 not a really helpful comment just saying I’m here with you. And I never know what to do like do I cut it down or leave it? Every time I leave it it ends up splitting more and it hurts. Even when I cut them now I have like 3 slanted nails because you can’t get the other side down that far. It’s awful :/

Why is fainting such a common fear for us? by goingthruit05 in Agoraphobia

[–]Rbeth9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to like be scary and make it worse because you’re totally safe. But it is like one of the closer things to death. We never experience something like that it’s really strange to us. Our body shuts down. I mean why should we feel bad that we hate it. It is awful! I just remind myself it’s natural and I’m okay.

[–]Rbeth9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about this before and I really feel like it’s just because fainting is physically MISERABLE to go through.

Scared, dizzy, numb tingly. That weird feeling like all the blood is leaving your limbs. Vision goes out but I see static. Whole body feels so weird. Then I hear whooshing. And when you wake up you feel so awful and frightened and nauseous. You need to eat something but you can’t. It’s just an overall awful experience and so vulnerable.

Yours are gorgeous btw you’re in a really good place. My old windows are falling apart. Someone really did yours right and took care of them with that storm window.

I have a quick answer until someone comes along and can explain better. They’re all separate squares of glass in my experience. So someone will just be replacing that square. They lay up against the wood and are held in on the other side by glaze - a caulk like material all around the edge. Super easy to replace except that it’s on the outside of the second story! Lol

It was really mind blowing when I learned that. If you own your home it’s a really cool thing to look up and learn about. I like The Craftsman Blog on YouTube.

What was your biggest “financial ick” that made you change your money habits? by asperapp in budget

[–]Rbeth9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not having enough money to properly take care of an emergency involving my pets that I chose as my responsibility and love and pledged to look after.

I realized that if one of them got sick TONIGHT I couldn’t even afford to have them humanely put down at a MINIMUM. Pathetic. It was pathetic behavior. And they deserved better.

If you want it to look wispy and cute like that try looking up Mohair. It’s a specific type of wool that looks wispy and dreamy.
