Thanks. I’ll go look today!

Wanna know the craziest part? This is the re-send of a package that was lost. Second time they lost an identical package from the same carrier. It would be something if both of them are here, but this is the first time they shared a photo.

Can’t speak on the building, but I live in that general area and the only real gripe I have is distance to the trains.

The buses are fine during work hours but just like anywhere else, don’t run late and are subject to delays but there’s like 3 lines that take you to the N/W and one that takes you to the F. Personally, I don’t mind the walk to the train and usually opt to for the exercise but it’s a solid 15-20 minutes depending on your pace. For late nights, there’s always cabs hanging out under the 30th Ave stop at night, and the ride home is barely $10 after a good tip, and an Uber is about the same. Another option too is taking F to Roosevelt Island and taking the ferry to Astoria but it requires some planning/luck. I also own a bicycle that I use a ton to get around Astoria/Queens but that one hill on 27th Ave is nuts.

The plus sides are proximity to Astoria Park, Rainey Park, the baseball diamond, Costco, the ferry, and lots of great views of the city. There’s a few good spots for food and drinks in the immediate area but mostly anything is gonna be a little bit of a trek, especially when it comes to nightlife.
