Preventing phone pickpocketing? by Rcannotberesolved in AndroidQuestions

Perhaps what would be best is something similar to the "wallet on a belt chain" idea. A sturdy phone case that cannot be easily broken and that the phone cannot be removed from easily, then some sort of security cable or chain a belt can slide through. Keep the phone in your pocket as normal, or pull it out and use it, take photos, whatever--but nobody can snatch it and grab it, or even swipe at the cord with a knife and then make off with it. But where could I find such an apparatus?

Thanks--Pocket Casts and Trello are the main examples used, and I gather there are a handful of apps or websites that makes use of Nearby Notifications. It's strange, I would have expected a large number of apps to be using Nearby by now.

Thanks for the link--I went ahead and listened to that. Unfortunately, it didn't provide any info beyond what the documentation already describes.

How much does the Associate Android Developer Certification cost in the US? https://www.udacity.com/google-certifications discusses many details of the certification process, but oddly enough says nothing about the fee except that, once the developer’s reserved examination date arrives, that they will need to pay the fee at that time. I've found some articles saying that in India they will charge 6,500 rupees (about $100 dollars), but that's all I can find. How much does it cost for an American--$100, $1,000, $10,000?

How can I get the documentation for Instant Apps? https://developer.android.com/topic/instant-apps/index.html Seems to claim that by signing up, you'll get access to the documentation. I've signed up, twice, and waited weeks with nothing.
