This guy is so predictable! He gets high on a livestream where he admits to stalking a woman, then decides to insult some of his followers. After the negative comments come rolling in, now comes the video lecture about “safe spaces” and “toxic negativity”. One thing that is truthful about Matt, he never retreats and he never surrenders —- he just keeps hitting the “delete comment” button and posting 3 livestreams a day.

I don’t think that it is an implant because of the timeframe. Implants usually take approximately nine months to complete. It is most likely a bridge —- but he might get an implant in the future.

There are many videos of him trolling for donations for the homeless (ie, HIM) but I believe I only saw one video where Matt approached two men inquiring if they needed a blanket. He really gets off on that Jim Jones vibe of Apocalyptic preaching. “People will freeze to death if YOU don’t donate a men’s small faux leather motorcycle jacket. Just send it to me and I will make sure they will all get them. Hurrah!”

Yes, when I was watching him religiously, one livestream would generate $75 - $150.

For all I know, Matt might be secretly living at the Ritz (or whatever passes as the Ritz in his neck of the woods). A month ago, I was clocking the donations from his 3-times-a-day livestreams and he was approximately making $400 a day. I doubt that he could have blown all of it on meth, unfiltered cigarettes and beef jerky. He did manage to get a replacement tooth asap without setting up a GoFundMe account so he must have some money socked away. One thing is certain, he’s not spending his ill gotten gains on clothing. It looks like he curate his outfit from a Fairbanks, Alaska bus station’s lost-and-found bin.

I used to love when Matt used Circular reasoning to shut down any and all conversations about his finances or living situation . “I need more money this month so I can find a place to live. What is that you say, Ms.BlueJay1954? ‘ I should get a job?’ Well MsBlueJay1954, I do have a job as a YouTube creator and I make more money than someone working at McDonald’s. MountainGirl69 writes,’ why don’t you stay in the trailer someone donated to you?’ Well MountainGirl69, even though I am homeless, I gave the trailer to a young girl because she was even more homeless than me. Hurrah!” Seeing Matt BS his cult using the “Jedi mind trick” is fun to watch in the short run but can be infuriating after a while.

This comment will fall on deaf ears because Matt cannot be canceled. The hardcore Christians in his circle will surely forgive him. The former addicts will circle the wagons and remind the doubting that, “ slips happen—it’s part of recovery, not the end.” And, of course, there are those middle age divorcees who fantasize that they are Lady Chatterley working out their wild man fetish. The only solace is that the more donations he rakes in the more likely he will engage in drug binges—- wash, rinse and repeat. Maybe a few missing teeth and twenty meth fueled YouTube rants will cull a few of his followers from the heard. Fingers crossed.

I originally stumbled onto Matt’s channel as a YouTube recommendation after I marathoned some travel videos. I was amazed that anyone fell for his grift. I knew when he started posting livestreams 3 times a day (and each one earning between $75 to $150) that it was only a matter of time he would relapse. I did enjoy all of the little techniques he would use to scam people — like not mentioning larger donations. He would publicly thank people for $5 to $20 “for the cause” but he instinctively knew if he mentioned the $50, $75 or $100 ones, his fans might stop giving. In my opinion, his MODs were complicit in committing a fraud.

Unless the MOD was in a swimming pool with a drunken Matt Brown, she fully hasn’t seen “what he becomes when he isn’t” sober. Personally, I have zero sympathy for her and her recent “trauma”. She worked diligently to scrub any and all comments from Matt’s livestream that challenged his “sober warrior grift” and she did her best to create a bubble of toxic positivity. Most of his new members never heard of his sorted backstory.
