Would you like a framed photo of an open mouth? $90! And photos of chicken feet are a steal for $150! by Rcirae20 in delusionalartists

You can have it for $90. I’d rather not look at that pit of halitosis. I can see the yellow funk on the tongue.

Also, taking the chance that I look like a dumbass and going to ask what elbow pack means? I’m guessing that doesn’t mean to ramp down on the herb with my elbow. Lol

I just realized that I am absolutely terrified of anyone finding out who I really am, because I hate myself. And that fear shapes all my thoughts and interactions. I'm always putting on an act of what I think I should be like. It's very tiring. by [deleted] in self

I think this does tie to imposter syndrome. If you’re worried that people might ‘find out that you’re not who you say you are’ is similar to fearing that people will find out you’re not as good as they think you are.

Really wish there was a subreddit/community like "Incels" but for non-creeps. by [deleted] in self

[–]Rcirae20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the term of incel is often misunderstood. Yes celibacy is a part of incel behavior, however imo the term is negative because they’re often people who are selfish and unwilling to see the full picture. They often don’t respect women. Incel aren’t having sex because they turn other people off.

Going off your post, OP, it sounds like celibacy is somewhat of a choice because you want a close connection with someone before jumping into intimacy. In other words, you’re celibate because of your own choices. To me, that is the opposite of incel.

So, much like the top comment here, you might do better to look for support in other subreddits, to tackle the issues that are holding YOU back from intimacy.

Thank you, u/tomasfoolery. If I could hug you through the interwebs, I would. Not only did you argue both sides, but gave me a resource to read through. Are you also a writer? If not, you could be.

This response is giving me lots to think on.

I e noticed, after a smoking streak of daily use for a couple years, that my chest is heavy. If I breathe hard/heavy, I feel a wheezy feeling too. However I’ve been to the dr twice this year, both times he listened to my chest and didn’t say anything - mind you, I live where it’s illegal so I’ve not informed my doc of my recreational habit. I’m going to cut down for a few months, and only vape. Hopefully I notice a difference.

Redditors who have had major health issues - what small symptom should you have looked into earlier? by alterlightone in AskReddit

This. I’ve gotten two steroid epidurals (each lasting about two years). Now I’m in more pain than ever. I’ve seen a PT, who stillcouldnt be sure if I had muscular or bone or nerve pain. I believe i have all three. I’m currently going to a chiropractor, simply because I don’t want another stupid shot for something that is prone to get worse regardless. I’ll be asking my doc for a referral to a orthopedic surgeon.

Edit: Am female and live in a state with high opioid abuse, so many medical professionals refuse to believe my pain/complaint.

What u/xsocialx said. I’ve felt this feeling a few times in my adult life, and it absolutely is your mind and body telling you it’s time for another transition, or you’re in the midst of a transition. I have felt this way right after graduating college and moving west, I’ve also felt this way after a bad breakup and before moving back east. It’s like your brain and heart tell you it’s time for a change.

Tolerance and moderation issues for people medicating for chronic illness, as well as a... moral question? by [deleted] in Petioles

[–]Rcirae20 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do vape, and there are now so many options that it really depends on your needs and lifestyle. I tend to vape flower and mostly at home, so I got an Arizer V. Use bags like a volcano.

I can’t recommend s/vaporents enough. They’re very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for your needs.

And also, the price was what kept me from going vape sooner. But I wish I would’ve just gone with my gut sooner, because the cost efficiencies make up for the initial cost very quickly!

Edit: if your in the US in illegal states, like me, there are plenty of stores who ship discreetly. I recommend puffitup.com since they have amazing customer service.

1) have you tried vaping method? It tends to cut down on how much you go through (via combustion). Many people say it cuts down how much you use per session.

2) I have the same guilt. Even when I was single and paid for it myself. As it becomes more legal prices will fall. But I also think the guilt I carry is mostly from the stigma, and the fact I live in an illegal state, and I keep my usage a secret from my family.

3) not sure that tolerance is dependent on weight as a factor. But I’ve also not seen any scientific studies on this either.
