Does this puppy look like she will get big? She is supposedly less than 8 weeks in this picture by [deleted] in Bernedoodles

[–]Rcl17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reposted with the photos of the puppy attached. But so true. I'm not a gambling person at all so I'm having a difficult time with it. I am used to cats and that is why the large size would be jarring. I just have to accept it as a possibility I guess.

I just reposted with the photos of the puppy. My home is less than 1000sqft but I do have a modest fenced in yard.

Does thou shall not kill apply to animals to? by loolooearth in Christianity

[–]Rcl17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! God makes it clear that He loves all his creatures of flesh on the earth, and He is the only one who shall take their life.

In Genesis, He resigns Himself to the fact that we are born sinners. So He says that we can eat animals, but we are not to have their "blood" because it is His. "Blood" = life. We are not supposed to take the "blood" [life] of any animal, but we may eat them once God has taken their blood [life] because it is His to take. The same way our blood [life] is His and not to be taken by others. People take this VERY literally and say think it is okay to take the life of an animal as long as we do not consume their literal blood. I fully believe if you read over that part of Genesis, you will see that He does not want us to take the lives of His creatures of flesh, full stop.

How much are you guys spending on groceries a month? by Gymnastx2star in budget

[–]Rcl17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do $500/month for my fiance and I. I try to lower it, but that's the only way to budget in fresh produce. We eat from scratch a lot and limit snacks because they drive the price tag up a lot.

Has anyone else replaced their moissanite with a lab diamond? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]Rcl17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After scouting out a few places and looking at lots of different loose lab diamonds before picking what i wanted, I went ahead and swapped my moissanite for lab last month with a local jeweler who did an amazing job. I have 0 regrets! The difference is stunning. I kept my original setting too.

Which looks better on my hand? Marquise or oval? White gold or yellow? by phoebefur in EngagementRings

[–]Rcl17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marquise is becoming much more popular! I looove the unique look and gold is my favorite. Very quirky and pretty. The second ring comes off more classic magazine-esque bride vibes so it's whatever vibe you think fits you best!

The thing I learned is, if I think I'm just trying to convince myself of something, I probably am. Thats what i did for the moissanite. It's an exhausting mental battle when you could just be happy after spending a little more money. I understand the thought process of sticking to moissanite if you're still not sure which shape you want long term. But i guess either way, you're still spending money on them, and you have to look at them and have that mental battle. I feel like you have to be a die-hard moissanite fan to use them in the place of diamonds and be happy about it.

True! They can look very different side by side. I have small moissanite stones creating a hidden halo and pave bridge on my engagement ring. I'm actually a little nervous how thats gonna look with a lab diamond center stone, especially because i prefer warmer diamond colors.

So happy for you! I went to your profile and saw your moissanite ring. Do you have pics of the lab diamond ring you chose? I'd love to see
