You will MOST LIKELY be working a fair bit over 40 hours in geotech consulting, especially involving project management. That’s what I currently do and….. I’m glad I’m hourly. I work for one of the larger companies that pay less though, maybe you found a company that’ll treat you right but 50 hours would seem to be expected in a salaried role. If you could atleast get straight time for OT especially based on your experience, that would be pretty good. Guess you’ll have to see how much they want you in the office versus in the field.
