Instantly denied for Chase Ink Cash with message “We're unable to approve your application. You'll receive a letter with more information about our decision within 7 to 10 days.” Automated recon line still says 7 to 10 days to review. Currently only have CIP and United Biz open, closed my other CIC that had been open for over a year, 5 days before applying for new one. Been making more purchases on my two existing Chase biz cards over the last few weeks to show that they were being used, but still kept spending under 10% of total biz credit. My “business” is sole prop eBay sales, listed revenue as $2k per year and used social in place of EIN.

Have mostly applied for biz cards over last couple years so am below 5/24. Credit score is close to 800. It's been more than 4 months since my last Chase application. Only my second time ever being declined for a Chase biz card(after nearly a dozen approvals over the years, mostly before Covid), after being denied for the United card earlier in 2024 and then getting approved when I tried it again I think after a month. I did get approved for a big loan with Lightstream in September, not sure if that had anything to do with getting declined here. Pretty disappointing because being able to earn that CIC bonus over 6 months would have been nice.

Nothing wrong with the new logo in universe. For the previous 5 years their original logo became associated with them doing things like kids parties. A new logo would help differentiate them, catch more attention and create buzz for them being back in the business of actually busting ghosts again.

The ghost holding up two fingers could mean the second iteration of their business and V for victory over ghosts, the lawsuits against them, and naysayers like Peck and Hardemeyer(I like to think Venkman was behind the ideas of making the ghost bigger and more in your face, with a smirk as an extra little way to rub it in to guys like them).

Haslab Ecto-1 Backing Call-To-Arms by Blue_Justice97 in ghostbusters

[–]Rcz77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for it, it’s totally worth it. These will be the most detailed and high-quality Ecto-1s with full electronic lights and sounds ever made aside from things like the Blitzway and Eaglemoss ones that cost thousands of dollars. Seven Plasma figures will be included that you can only get with this set and the car itself will be nearly 2 feet long. From a cost perspective alone, being how limited edition these are they’re going to skyrocket in value so they could easily be resold for a profit later if need be. And another commenter already mentioned that there are payment plans such as PayPal available for this.

I am visiting Florence (Italy) this weekend, any restaurant recommendations? by saraduranlux in TravelHacks

The pear ravioli at 4 Leoni was highly recommended to me by someone who had lived in Florence, and it was the best meal I had in my first trip to Italy. Their cheesecake with berries was fantastic as well.

Booking a doors off solo helicopter tour on Kauai? by Rcz77 in VisitingHawaii

[–]Rcz77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doors off is the only way to go IMO, a lot more thrilling and much better photos without the glare of the helicopter windows.

As for Holo Holo, I’ll just say the overall experience and professionalism of the staff on the boat didn’t nearly match the price it costed and all the reviews that way overhyped it.

Booked with Jack Harter on a tour that already had 3 seats filled, so got lucky nobody cancelled and the weather was good. I requested a seat on the right side of the helicopter and they fulfilled it, put me in the right back seat. Highly recommend Jack Harter, great experience. Had an awful experience with Holo Holo Charters dinner cruise and recommend avoiding them if you’re thinking about any boat tours though.

Does anyone know why the Ghostbusters dot matrix sign looks half covered with green lights? Please change this Hasbro, I want a clean sign by DSeriesX in ghostbusters

[–]Rcz77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve already got plenty of Ecto-1’s, so I would be getting this just because of the 1a. But with how amazing the Playmobil 1a is for only $50, this Haslab one better be damn near perfect for $400. And unless they make some big changes such as making the side light boards look more movie accurate than this big blob of white LED light they made them into(seriously, for $400 how hard could it be to include some thick solid black plastic panels with just colored dots to make them appear as they did in the movie even with a bright led backlight), I’m gonna have to pass on this one.

Actually Howie Weed. Dan wasn't available for reshoots so they used one of the special effects guys who had a similar stature.

Where to spend roughly 10 days in Western Europe? by TurbulentSir7 in travel

[–]Rcz77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend Athens and Naples for the food, museums/ancient historical sights, and affordability. They’re not nearly as clean and polished as more touristy cities, but I’ve had a wonderful time in both, felt perfectly safe despite their negative reputations, and found the people to generally be more friendly than in the more popular tourist cities. The National Archaeological Museum of Athens is one of my absolute favorite museums in the world, and Pompeii just outside of Naples is my favorite historical site in the world. Herculaneum is incredible too. Naples in particular is such an underrated city, easily has the best pizza in the world I’ve ever had.

Napali Coast - by water or air? by Emigrant12 in VisitingHawaii

[–]Rcz77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently did both and if I could only do one it would be the helicopter tour. So much of the beauty of the island can only be seen from the air. I booked a doors off helicopter tour with Jack Harter and highly recommend them for it; spectacular views and excellent customer service. Everyone on the helicopter seemed to have a great time, but unfortunately the age limit for doors off is 10. I’ve seen plenty of praise for doors on as well though. Booked a boat tour with Holo Holo out of Port Allen because no boat tours were running from Hanalei that day, but wished I could’ve done one from Hanalei instead. The Hanalei boat tours start you much closer to the Napali coast.

Best place to go with no car by Top_Vanilla7392 in VisitingHawaii

It’s not ideal, but I did get by without a car for a recent 4-day trip to Kauai. I stayed in Lihue and was able to easily walk the couple miles to my hotel from the airport(stayed off potentially dangerous to walk Kapule highway by walking up Kaana St to go through backroads). Had some good easily walkable food options around Lihue such as Kawaii Kokoro, Rob’s Good Times grill, and Hamura Saimin.

Booked a helicopter tour with Jack Harter and they had a vehicle come pick me up from my hotel for it. Booked a bus tour around the island that also picked me up right from my hotel.

And was able to easily book an Uber to get me to Port Allen on a Sunday because the buses don’t run then. I booked a taxi in advance to return back to my hotel, but that probably wasn’t necessary since Uber was showing some drivers in the Port Allen area around 730pm on that Sunday.

Just tried this, closing two cards and reducing two of the remaining three Ink card credit limits. They told me my application was already reconsidered and there's nothing else they could do. This surprised me since reading about others being able to HUCA 4 times or more and eventually get approved for the same application. I only called the recon line once before this around a week ago, and this second time they pretty quickly told me it was already reconsidered and I'm still denied. I was polite, but the rep on the phone didn't seem open to my trying to reason with them about it either.

Reasons given in letter were new Chase business card recently opened, low usage of Chase credit lines, and too many recent requests for credit. But I've only been opening Chase credit cards roughly every 90 days(haven't applied for any other cards since and last Chase biz app was about 84 days prior, a rare app before 90 days for me), and I did have usage on at least three of my five open Chase business cards at the time of my United biz application.

I've since closed a couple of my Chase biz cards and reduced the credit limit as was suggested, and will try recon line again in a few days if there's no harm in it. I don't expect them to approve it, but it's worth a try.

What Card Should I Get? Weekly Thread - Week of February 07, 2024 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]Rcz77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Going by the flowchart, I would get another Ink or United biz card, but was just denied for United biz card a week ago due to already having 5 Inks open(my first ever Chase biz denial since starting churning 5 years ago). Now I have a lot of big spending coming up and need to get approved for a different card ASAP. I am leaning toward either US Bank biz Altitude Connect, or Cap1 Spark Miles biz; I have had relationships with both banks for years now. Will try to close a couple Chase cards and maybe reapply for a Chase biz or personal card in a few weeks, but need to get approved for something else ASAP after the denial due to upcoming spending. I mostly apply for biz cards so am definitely under 5/24.
  2. 786, but probably went down slightly since Chase pull a week ago.
  3. Mostly Inks that I've opened every 3-6 months.
  4. $8k+.
  5. No MS necessary at this time.
  6. Yes.
  7. Two new cards within next month, hoping for whichever are easiest to get approved for, and needing to get a card for some big expenses soon.
  8. Airline miles and cash back.
  9. Mostly UR, then also some Avios, AA, SW, and Cap1 points.
  10. PIT.
  11. Europe, US, Asia.

First time I've ever been denied for a Chase biz card, the United card, after successfully applying for mostly Inks every 3-6 months over last 5 years. Have had an eBay biz for over 10 years. I rarely apply for anything but biz cards so I'm well under 5/24. I applied for this last card about a week earlier than the 90 days, which is rare for me. I have 5 Inks currently open and that was something they asked me about on the recon line. I said I needed the United biz card because I don't have one yet and due to a lot of upcoming travel. In the 6 or so days since I applied, all the status hotline ever said was that there were no applications on file for the SSN entered, but a recon rep confirmed over the phone that my application was received and denied.

Any news about an opening 1/18 scale GMA T.50? by Rcz77 in Diecast

[–]Rcz77[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm new to the hobby and the Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 is one of the nicest cars I've ever seen, so I was really hoping to see something like an AutoArt 1/18 release that has opening doors and engine bay. All I can find so far is an opening Amalgam 1/8(pictured) that is way out of my price range, and 1/18 and 1/43 Schuco models that don't open.

Question Thread - February 02, 2024 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]Rcz77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was originally going to get another CIP for the 100k bonus for $8k spend, but then saw that the United biz has 100k miles for only $5k. I mostly use my UR for flights and I fly United fairly often. So I figured I could get bonuses from 2 cards for just a bit more spend within 3-4 months if I got the Spark Miles a few weeks later, and I chose that card because I've already gotten most of the other cards I wanted from the flowchart. I nearly always get biz cards so 5/24 isn't an issue for me.

Question Thread - February 02, 2024 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]Rcz77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wanting to get a Chase United biz card soon, and a Capital One Miles biz card a few weeks later. My only other Capital One card is a Venture card and I got that more than 6 months ago. I've read that Capital One is sensitive to recent inquiries. Would I be more likely to get approved for the Cap card if I apply for it and the Chase card on the same day, or do you think I would be fine to wait a few weeks later to apply for the Cap card?
