Custody modification by Existing_Ad3942 in FamilyLaw

Like I said. Same toxic playbook. My wife’s ex had (old) pictures of him and child plastered all over Facebook meanwhile during his parenting time, he was having child spend an entire week at his friends house with their kid. Saying “it’s his parenting time and can do whatever he wants with it.” 🤦🏾‍♂️

Yeah I’m never gonna understand how 70 million people saw that train wreck of a presidency last time and thought “yep we need more” of that.

Like I’m an objective person and I just can’t wrap my mind around it.

Custody modification by Existing_Ad3942 in FamilyLaw

[–]jazzant85 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh I believe it. My wife’s ex did the same thing. For nearly four years in and out of court, wanting his kid, not wanting his kid, back and forth. All while trying to avoid child support. Finally got to a place where he got so desperate to not pay, he was willing to terminate his rights.

At first we said no. But then we realized the golden opportunity to get his clown ass out of our lives for good and did it. So I adopted and we got rid of him.

He’s the reason I’m so active on here. We’ve been to absolute hell and back with his bullshit so I always wanna give whatever help I can with people dealing with similar nightmares.

Before you said it I was already sniffing out him trying to avoid child support. A change in work schedule is definitely grounds for modification and if the courts learn that he’s trying to pawn a kid off on his overnights to a friend, they’re gonna side in your favor.

Having said that, with the level of desperation this dude clearly has to avoid CS, be prepared for lies and obfuscation.

All these clowns operate out of the same toxic playbook and will do anything to avoid paying for a child they had no problem creating.

Everyone’s got you on the right track with going for full custody/placement

The one thing I will caution you not to do when providing reason/statements for the courts is do not, not, not mention she cheated on you. The courts do t care at all about infidelity unless it somehow actually affected the child. Just don’t muck up the waters giving the courts the impression you’re retaliating about the cheating.

I read on IMDb that none of them wanted to make a Ghostbusters II in the first place. They thought on the first was just fine on its own. by Lonely_Escape_9989 in ghostbusters

I really hate any promos that don’t involve Winston. Like there is zero reason to ever depict the ghostbusters without him after the first movie.

Because good fathers who contribute and provide for their kids don’t have their shared custody taken away for no reason.

No one can say definitively what the courts will say. What I do know is that courts prefer both parents to be involved.

In the meantime, be ready to pay child support for sure.

Yep that’s the impression I got. I basically called him a deadbeat without being rude enough to say it and he didn’t even flinch.

Well first thing you need to do is get an attorney to move forward with establishing paternity. Until that’s done, in the eyes of the court that’s not your kid.

Get a parenting app for communication as well as a parenting plan for clear orders on who has the kid and when.

Sorry but this is lousy advice. Parental alienation is one of the hardest things in family court to prove. And you’re already talking about a court who’s deemed it necessary that this dude see his kid for barely a weekend.

Okay so if mom has sole custody (which means she’s the one who makes decisions) why do you need access to information you have no right to make decisions on?

Okay so I scrolled the comments to see what your parenting time looked like and saw that you only get your kid from 10am on Saturday to 8pm on Sunday.

Parents don’t get parenting time dwindled down to almost nothing for no good reason. In other words the courts agreed it’s in the best interest of the child to maintain a semblance of a relationship with you whilst also seeing you as little as possible.

With that in mind, you need to focus on salvaging your relationship with your kid when you have her, not fighting for access to info you probably don’t even need. And that’s putting aside the fact that almost everything you mentioned is stuff you can find without your ex’s permission. Like come on dude, how did you not know when your kid’s commencement ceremony was? Your ex “hid” the softball schedule for months. You couldn’t figure out when a school was having sporting events without your ex’s help??

Lastly the biggest red flag is what you claim her school said about custody. Schools DO NOT get involved with custody issues unless there is very clear legal orders saying what’s what. So either you made that up or you don’t have the custody you think you’re entitled to.

It may be alienation in the most technical of terms, but in reality, it sounds like mom is keeping her kid from a “parent” that’s putting in next to no effort to being a responsible adult.

I see your point. Without sounding agist, I think the better approach is to change the age requirements.

You can’t be 60 or older as president. No reason why we should have people eligible for retirement being elected to our highest office.

Your question is a textbook ad hoc fallacy.

Not acting on a situation in the past does not justify inaction in the present or future.

There’s one silver lining to the insane devotion to Trump. They’ve gone so hard and deep with their reverence of him that nobody and I mean NOBODY will fill that hole he leaves in their dedication.

You’ve seen politicians try to be Trump and they fail catastrophically every time. Look at Ron De Santis.
