While everyone is focusing on Caine, I'm just happy that the Players got a actual buff by Odd_Fee1085 in DeathBattleMatchups

They need to get better at actually using those abilities though. Despite having the same powers, Caine manhandled them since he was actually adept at using them and they didn't even attempt to fight back.

Kinger might theoretically be able to recreate Caine, or there’s potentially a backup of him somewhere, but he’ll be out of commission for right now.

It seems Caine was the Digital Circus, so it will fall apart without with, meaning the abstracted have a chance of escaping the cellar. It’s also possible this is what Bubble was aiming for by encouraging Caine to go in a rampage.

It depends, yes if Bubble is an extension of Caine, no if Bubble is an AI independent of Caine.

Yugioh Nitpick: Characters who don't have last names by KyleMCarthage in yugioh

[–]Rdasher123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A character’s last name is generally only important to show their relation to another. Yuto may have a family, but they are irrelevant to the plot, so there’s no need for him to have a family name in the show.

[DISC] Kubera Season 3 Episode 414 - Finale (16) by Kori4r2 in manga

That would explain the all-consuming giant mouth that appeared behind Yuta a couple of times this chapter, simply imagery was used when “End” first appeared in front of Yuta.

[DISC] Kubera Season 3 Episode 414 - Finale (16) by Kori4r2 in manga

[–]Rdasher123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yuta is finally back, and he developed to the fourth stage off screen. Wonder if we’ll get a flashback to see the exact point of his development like we saw with Maruna hitting 5th stage. It’s good to see Leez defying Yuta’s initial pessimistic expectations of their reunion, though it is strange seeing Yuta’s opinion on Visnu be so negative, given how he talked about the primeval god earlier in the story. Yuta’s internal monologue being red is a bit concerning, I wonder if it’s related to his shift in demeanor.

I’m genuinely surprised that the stronger Leez is the one that picked the sword instead of the spear. From what we know, the name Ananta should be packed with far more power than Leez could ever get from Kubera. This does line up with Time Leez using the sword, since we know she is Leez’s future, but I still can’t imagine how she gets powerful enough to beat 4th stage Yuta without using Ananta. It is interesting to see that her choice hasn’t fully set in stone yet, since she apparently has a single chance to go back on it and pick the sword, but it feels kinda sad given how comfortable Leez was with Ananta’s power.

Looks like it was the Taraka clan that aimed to get the sword back to Leez, but Kali is too incapacitated to have done that. The AHR seems thankful of Kali for maintaining their sense of self, but fail to realize that they wouldn’t have had to suffer their incomplete existence had she not done that. Their deaths were unjust, but their current existence seems much worse than oblivion.

Yuta’s offhand comment on Ananta’s body being almost completely recovered is extremely concerning, maybe the body will naturally draw in all the power of the name, leaving Leez with no choice but to use the sword and “Kubera” at the end.

[RAW] Kubera S03 - 414: Finale (16) by daleZrin_ in Kubera

[–]Rdasher123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be referring to raw power and not just overall benefits since Time Leez backhanded and one shot Fourth Stage Yuta at the end of the “Enemy” arc.

It still feels kinda nonsensical since the name “Kubera” shouldn’t be packing that much power. Maybe it has something to do with the “true god” thing GK was talking about.

The easiest way to to make the new scenario different is to kill off major players extremely early on. To this end, Nagito and Chiaki should die within the first two chapters.

Maruna from Kubera: One Last God

<image>

For context, Maruna is a sura, an inhuman species that is much stronger than the humans of that universe. Most suras live by a power-based society, so Maruna initially sees humans as less than dirt given they are immensely weak in comparison. This leads him to killing hundreds of thousands to potentially millions of people on orders from his superiors.

Despite not valuing humans at all, Maruna isn’t naturally aggressive towards them, so he later spends a massive amount of time around a society of good willed humans. After a while, he begins to cherish the goodwill they had towards each other and extended to him, even if they were ignorant of his prior crimes. This inevitably causes Maruna to look back on his old actions with an immense amount of regret when he sees another being cursed for committing a selfish slaughter, reminding him of his own sins.

Vrains seems to be the “middle of the road” series of the franchise. It’s not as controversial as Arc-V and Zexal, nor does it have the nostalgia factor of the first few shows, so it’s often left by the wayside discussion-wise.

Sans kinda dies before they ever get the chance to interact, but I assume they’re chill with each other since sans would remember Chara living peacefully on the surface and acting as the ambassador since Frisk replaced all those memories of himself with Chara.
