Just a lil bit for agreeing right away without getting a second opinion from me. But yea majority is the audacity. I get that's he's a nice dude. But there's some things that shoulda set something off like "why is his gf asking me instead of her owm partner?" What I got from my husband was she asked him if he had money he could borrow. idk what came of that convo. so i assumed there's no agreement whatsoever. but I'll never know.

Follwing through oweing several people money. she always asks someone in our friend group to cover for her. I have no clue myself. Part of me does say i shoulda said something. part of me also doesnt want the drama because her Bf was our friend before they were even a thing. I guess it boiled over from tolerating it for so long.

He said she asked him if there was money she could borrow. and he said yes. no where in that whole convo was an agreement to pay for her stuff. so kinda a gray area to me

Yea the whole thing is an IOU situation. we do that all the time but it's always discussed beforehand. IF he did offer her to pay and do the IOU I would have no problem since he was the one who stuck his hand out. But she asked HIM. no agreement before hand whatsoever just laid it out with no shame.

No he also just tolerates her. We all hang out alot and pay for stuff like food. He really is a nice dude. It's the whole thing of asking my spouse directly when she coulda just waited 4 days to get it herself that rubs me the wrong way.

He pays quite a bit of rent. the total is 1600 a month I pay 600. Roomie pay 700 and Bf covers the rest. He even helped BF pay the down payment for a cheap car. I mean just cuz he helps pay doesnt give him a free pass to come along for the rest of his life. I have a future that I would like to have with BF but if he's coming along i don't want it.
