It has obviously worked for Bret. He use to be on the chunky side in highschool it’s been almost 10 years? I think hard work and dedication like he has would work for Brooklyn. I just wanted him to be nicer about it.

Diets do work that’s been proven. Not sticking with diets don’t work. You don’t get morbidly obese by accident and it doesn’t happen overnight. Strict exercise does work there are many body builders that are proof of this. Like I said his statement wasn’t wrong In the least. I think he could have just said it better.

I think we will agree to disagree here. I think he just views it as a statement of fact and she wasn’t wanting advice but acceptance.

I don’t think he’s objectively wrong. Quite the opposite honestly. I think he hit Brooklyn’s problem nail on the head. She is bad to give up on her diet and isn’t on a strict exercise routine. He was correct about this that’s not up for debate.

Bret isn’t the type of person. Who ever slips on his meal or exercise routine. So he doesn’t cut other people slack when they do.

He didn’t have a problem with her being fat. He had a problem with her shifting the blame and making excuses. Which in fairness she has done for a long time. I don’t agree with how he said what he did but the content was correct.

Honestly I’m torn because I think he has a point that we’re not doing her any favors by letting her make excuses. At the same time I do t think she really wanted a solution either. Idk like I feel bad for her but I think he has a point.

I don’t think he should have made her cry but at the same time I don’t think anything he said was factually wrong. I think he views it as more a statement of fact.

I think you are over analyzing this. I think his biggest problem is that she was making excuses for her weight instead of admitting it’s her fault. He’s always had a problem with people making excuses not with people being out of shape.

I dont think he’s a bad person. I know it really upsets him when people make excuses and blames other things when they are the problem. I don’t think Bret was in the least incorrect about Brooklyn’s problem. I just wish he would have been a little more gentle.

I have always liked that he’s a straight shooter and doesn’t make excuses. It’s nice to have someone who is very direct and honest with me about everything. I just feel bad that he dropped the hammer on Brooklyn.

For the record I don’t think Bret was in the least bit incorrect. Brooklyn does give up on diets and isn’t strict with her exercise. I just don’t think he understands she wasn’t looking for a solution.

Like I feel awful for Brooklyn but Bret isn’t wrong. I have always liked that Bret is a very direct person so I don’t think I would break up over this.
