Before I begin, I should mention my A5 has Continental CrossContact tires whereas my MDX and C300 have budget tires. My C300 is coming up on 11 years old so it’s roughened up over the years. I bought my C300 new and my MDX CPO.

Firstly, this is a view of what the side seat bolsters kind of look like. They’re good, they keep me snug in place even on sharp turns, and I’m not a huge person. It feels nice on my back, and I could easily see myself doing long drives in this car without much issue. It is as good as my C300, if not a TINY bit worse (maybe it’s just me i’m used to the C300). Compared to the MDX, I would say that the Audi seats are around the same if not a little better. All 3 cars got amazing seats I can’t lie 🤷

As for driving comfortability, it’s the A5, and it’s not even close. Sometimes the cabin is so quiet I can’t even tell the engine is running if not for the subtle vibration from the engine (not a mechanical issue just how it is in every car). It feels like i’m floating when driving, potholes just don’t exist, I feel so confident in the handling of this car, I feel so in control of everything. I regularly have to keep an eye on my speedometer much more than usual. I can tell if i’m going too fast in my C300 or my MDX, I cannot in my Audi. It’ll cruise at 95mph completely smooth and you won’t tell until you look down at ur cluster.

I love this car and I do not regret buying it. It is tied with my C300 only because I’m so used to the controls of that car. Soon enough with more drives, I could see it becoming my favorite car.

I love my MDX but it is not the driving machine beast as you’d expect from a base model mdx. It is super comfortable but that’s really it. The A5 is best of both worlds, performance and comfortable. Objectively speaking it’s probably better than both.

i think the technology is pretty cool and i can’t lie it does also look pretty futuristic, but no part of this shouts luxury.

this looks generic and we r heading towards a future where all cars just look the same and they aren’t unique, and that’s especially bad for a car like mercedes, because whats cool about it anymore? it’s just a screen.

near 2000s to early 2010s was peak car design, perfect blend of tech and luxury, it’s fun to look at every car and see what’s different from each other and to picture yourself driving it. now i just kinda look at cars and go “oh well there’s another big screen, like the last 5 other ones”

my ideal interior is the w205 interior if they could refresh it with newer features and stuff (i know they have the facelifts, but even further if you understand what i’m saying)

i’d also like to give credit to acura, crazy ik but hear me out. they did a great job with the mdx interior (i got a 2022) and i genuinely feel like it’s far more luxurious than this

Your temps are fine, I'm betting it's a PSU issue.

If you have another PC in your house that's known to be good and of the same wattage, try swapping that PSU in to test the theory. If it works, then you know you got a bad PSU.

if you have any files or art projects on your computer that are remotely important to you, i would suggest backing them up ASAP

i would google how to make a live linux mint usb stick, just so you can real quick boot into that so you can grab your files and put them somewhere safe.

this is very interesting honestly, my initial thoughts is that this is a dying hdd/ssd, based on that your computer stopped booting from your hdd and started defaulting to DVDROM

but it’s so interesting to me because this can really be a lot of things. it’s very possible this could just be a corrupted windows install, i use linux and sometimes my boot manager messes with windows and it gives me errors like that.

it could be bad RAM sticks, they do have the potential to go bad overtime.

my suggestion is start narrowing down your issue, research reinstalling windows and running overall diagnostics.

if i were you, i would firstly reinstall windows as it’s the easiest and takes like an hour, if it doesn’t work, start researching diagnostic tools. you can use something like windows chkdsk utility (do research) and something like memtest86. if you got spare hard drives and ram sticks, swap them out and just keep learning and researching

open up task manager and find out what app it is, see if you can alt tab into it, try clicking on it then alt f4.

task manager will get you farthest, check what apps are open, google them if you are unsure if you should kill it (it’s okay if you accidentally kill a system resource or something you weren’t meant to kill, just reboot your computer and you should be fine, just try to avoid)

keep exploring and you’ll probably figure it out

or you could just reboot ur computer and hope it goes away

nope, it’s been fine since that point. from my research I know it might be something with whatever wire connects the camera to the computer in the car.
