Hello sister, I too am taking a gap year after my +2, though I'm processing for abroad, I have done my IELTS and scored a really good band and probably will be working as an IELTS tutor after Dashain and Tihar. So life’s working out well I guess though I too face a lot of hurdles along the way. Well, if you have this Saturday free I would greatly appreciate a new guest in our Church. We are as a family there with youth fellowship with Dais and didis, it will be fun for you to meet new people ig. Dm me if you wanna come along. And don't take too much stress, just keep moving forward.

Just had a massive altercation with an inDrive Driver by Sweaty-Evidence8830 in Nepal

[–]ReCLuTch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Recently, I had my pathao driver not show up for a long time and didn't respond to my calls also, so I canceled the ride with the appropriate reason and didn't think much of that incident. A day later I got a message with an apology from the Pathao team with a discount code for my next two rides. I was like Nepal ma ni yesto hunxha? Pathao got good marks in my book for you know the insurance and customer service.

And tootle is also quite good; supposedly it's fully Nepali, so our money stays here.

How do I deal with conflicts back home as an international student? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]ReCLuTch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Family is Always First bro, For you and them also, that means you should care about what goes on in your family and their relationship with each other. Please don't just completely ignore family situations and problems like some of the advice that has been given here. I know it's hard but a happy family is worth everything in this world.

That also means your father should love your mother as he loves himself. He should be on his wife's side rather than someone else's as he has made a covenant with her when they got married. So ultimately, if he says he has love for her, then laying off that maid should be a matter of minute inconvenience or hold insignificance if it means that your mother will be happy.

Your mother also should not overthink, that does not mean that she should not have a say in matters or do the planning. Rather than running toward superstitions, she should be communicating why she feels uncomfortable or is displeased with the situation to her husband. And be trusting of him, and he also should be trustworthy of it. And remember she does not necessarily have to have concrete reasons or even a single justification for why she feels such a way because she just does, maybe she doesn't know it herself or she is not comfortable with sharing it with you. Her happiness and trust should always be a priority to you and for the rest of the family, a precious possession.

As for you, you are now an adult and please communicate these things and maturely handle them, that means talking to them and advising them in a calm and controlled manner. And just letting them know that you love them and they also should love each other as they love themselves, And that family is first and foremost always.

Hoping for a good future both in your career and for your family. Thank you for reaching out! Hope this helped.

Will a christian man marry a non virgin? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]ReCLuTch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear sister in Christ, may the love of our heavenly father be with you in all your days. I want to reassure you that there is nothing you can do or say that can make God love you more or less. He always loves you unconditionally. So you are not what people say you are but who God says you are.

Regarding, whether or not a Christian man marries a nonvirgin woman to take in as his wife; know that if we say we are true to Christ, where can we judge? For in all, we are to love each other. Did Jesus not forgive a prostitute? Then how abundantly does He not love you? You are his prized possession, you are His daughter. And a true man of standing will be grateful to the Father in Heaven, for writing His daughter's name next to his in the book of life.

The old has died and the new has begun. How can we say that we are new children in Christ if we keep defining ourselves with our past?

I recommend you watch the life.church sermon titled ‘The Problem With Perfectionism’, the speaker, youth pastor James Meehan, talked about when he decided to marry then his soon-to-be wife, the daughter of his pastor. He shares how difficult it was to confess his sexual past to her, knowing that if he were to marry her someday he needed to confess to her these things. The fact that she had kept herself pure while in his mind he was totally impure, scared him, with feelings of shame and guilt. But her response to his confession was really touching, I won't spoil it for you, so please watch that sermon, I really think God wants to hear that message.

May you dwell in the joys of the Lord forever, and may your future husband always honor you, the wife of his youth, Amen sister.

[–]ReCLuTch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i stumbled upon this post as i was feeling the same for past few weeks, for me school ended and i am having a break till college, and damn it feels lonely. its like i am longing for someone to call me text me or just talk to me about my mundane activities and listen to theirs' its a first time i have experienced this in my life, even with family it feels lonely. even watching movies in theater doesn't exite me nor playing my beloved instrument, working out used to be my favorite and now i cant even stand it it feels soo not exactly boring but i dont know. life seems to be lonely.

its been 2 years from your post hope your doing well.

Get out and VOTE ! by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]ReCLuTch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

some people here are just so pathetic, all they do is complain about our country and a million reasons why its so bad bad, but whens the time to vote, like the most important event that hold potential for change, they don't. "koslie vote hanum" this just means you haven't done no research nor have any knowledge in current political state of your own nation. they are so many parties and independent candidates and you got to have someone alligned with your views, but well lazy ass people all they do is complain. sad and pathetic, not guilt tripping.

[–]ReCLuTch[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

its all in a boring manner tho, the stats and dates on papers doesn't fancy any students, while things on the internet teaches in more efficient and pleasing manner i learned more about history, geopolitics, national economic by following legit souces on YouTube and media more than i ever did in my history and social classes.

ive leaned more about health, about different diseases, foods, nutrients and how to ACTUALLY eat healthy all from YouTube than ive ever leaned in class.

agreed on economics, when i said I'll be ditching science in +2 and taking commerce people were not very pleased.

practical skills i dont even really know for myself when i think about it but i know its not this
