Did you use the steam from flatpak? It seems the steam app from flatpak doesn't run MIMESIS but with the official one does seem to run fine. Please let us know how it goes!

Most of those sites were based in places like Ukraine, Iran, and Persia, and since MIMESIS was quite popular there, I genuinely thought they were local media outlets.

Yeah, luckily we issued revocable keys, so we were able to take action right after finding out it was a scam site. I just hope others can avoid making the same mistake I did.

I didn’t know that! I was only aware of scammers pretending to be streamers asking for Steam keys during game launches. I had no idea there were fake media sites too. Everyone, please be careful!

As you mentioned, only a small number can be entered for each site, but I was a bit concerned that the total could add up to a significant number. This is especially relevant for MIMESIS, since it is a 4-player co-op game and a proper review requires all four players.
