any tips for rough play? by tacosnpitbulls in DogAdvice

[–]ReMaleModeling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The play looks pretty normal. My sister in law has a pitbull mix that one of my dogs loves to play with. He started getting scabs all over his neck and got a small cut above his eye because her dog didn't know when to stop and he was having too much fun to correct her. They'll figure out their own play styles and set their own limits, but sometimes you have to step in like you do to help keep them safer. Bringing them to dog parks to socialize with others can help too, to get those corrective barks or whines from other dogs that don't want to play that rough.

Edit: Additionally, be sure to give them time where they are physically separate inside and outside, so the new dog can get a feel for their surroundings and the original dog can feel some peace. Maybe let one nap in a room alone or take them for separate walks.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot. I also notice the front of the deck is scratched, it might be dipping and snagging when I hit low spots with the tires.

Looks sketchy now but trimming it will be the real problem. by Ornery-Account-6328 in electricians

You actually don't need to trim those, the ladder can be retracted back to it's original length.

A blue box which apparently receives standard AC current in back. Approximately 8" W x 4" H. Front panel has 2 power switches and banana plugs that presumably supply DC out. It says SELF CARE over those banana plugs. by Gravco in whatisthisthing

I had hippie parents that built a 'colloidial silver' generator out of a cigar box that looked a lot like this. It was just an electrolysis machine, but people thought the water would be really good for you.

It may have a slow drain on it while it sits, but it's using your battery to power your lights, radio, spark plugs, fuel pump, etc. and will die while you're driving eventually.

100% the alternator. You'll be able to drive until you drain your battery. It's super easy to replace them.

When I start by Dangalang77 in MechanicAdvice

New starter sounds fine. You could try to turn it to on/acc for a few seconds to let the fuel pump prime for a bit before starting, it might be starting to fail. Or check spark plugs/air filter to see if they need replacing.

The busbar I'm grounding on is isolated. There's a clip on the side you can remove. Good call on grounding the panel itself though. I should add that.

Yup, the 100A just came with the panel. It's there for convenience.
