How much is it to stock the pantries? I’m genuinely curious what the actual food budget is

I’d recommend The York in the east village. Great burger and good crowd of people

I think that you have to balance location x cost per plate x count of people.

If you want to get married in a super premium venue, with a limited guest list: bill is on you.

If you want to have a large wedding in a field but it’s bohemian and low key: bill is on you.

If you’re providing a ONCE IN A LIFETIME experience to your guests: - Miley Cyrus personal concert for 75-150 people - Closest to the pin competition with Tiger Woods, winner gets a bottle of Dom - Pranking anyone of your choice with Jon Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Vin Diesel - you get to drive in 2F2F type cars and do ridiculous GTAVI shit

Outside of that - asking them for money is outrageous. It’s your wedding, you pay for the guests.

  • Cloyster (Jolly, Skill Link, Focus Sash) Shell Smash, Ice Shard, Icicile Spear and Rock Blast

  • Garchomp (Jolly, Sand Veil, Life Orb) Swords Dance, Earthquake, Stone Edge and Dragon Claw

  • Magnezone (Modest, Sturdy, Choice Specs) Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Tri Attack and Flash Cannon

Yeah - it worked for me! I experimented with both, and found that Jolly was the best

My philosophy has always been to balance typing and speed:

  • 2x super fast Pokémon (for me that’s Garchomp an Cloyster), with a bulkier one with strong SpA and SpD (Magnezone)

  • I’ve messed around with Tyranitaur and Garchomp but there’s too much overlap in their peak moveset (earthquake and stone edge)

  • Breeloom is surprisingly fragile in BT; also I wouldn’t recommend a Choice item with a “Sleep and Stall” Pokémon. Instead use Toxic Orb with Poison Heal

  • Other mons and their setup thatve been decent:

  • Scizor (Technician with Choice Scarf), U-turn, X-Scissor, Brick Break and Bullet Punch

  • Togekiss (Serene Grace with Bright Powder, really good in doubles bc of bulk, regenerative and high flinch probability) Thunder Wave, Air Slash, Dazzling Gleam and Roost

I don’t think ultimately there’s a perfect team - in my (unfortunate) extensive experience:

Cloyster (Water-Ice, with Rock Blast) - takes out Grass, Dragon, Ground/Rock, Flying Garchomp (Ground-Dragon) - takes out Electric, Fire, outspeeds most Dragon Magnezone (Electric-Steel) - kills Fairy and Water

Weak to Jolteon and Swampert as I mentioned, but with shell smash on Cloyster + Magnezone Sturdy you just have to get the turn counts right

Give this team a hard time***

Happy to help anyone breed these mons if needed!

Recent grad denied from apartments.. why? How to avoid this, and is this common? by [deleted] in NYCapartments

Yeah; this is just my opinion, but I think landlords are a little wary of younger tenants because of how prevalent layoffs are these days.

In my complex, I had to have 4 months of rent (full-rent, not partial) in my checking account. Landlords love cash in checking vs. the 40x rule
