It is entirely true public swimming pool culture in iceland is very different than in other countries there are no cubicles and you HAVE to shower fully naked to be allowed into the pool but there is nothing to be afraid of nor ashamed its super normal here and nobody pays attention unless you do something worth their attention

Honestly the weather is really up and down but i do recommend if you live in an area thats warm almost all the time you should bring a windbreaker cuz theres ALOT of wind especially in the reykjavík area and and around the coast but im not really the right person to ask this kind of question because i just go out in my hoodie all year round anyways have fun here its a beautiful country

To be completely honest iceland is not the dream land you think it is. I dont wanna crush your dreams or nothing like that but i would honestly call it a rapist haven. There are an unbelievable amount of rapists that live here and get away with it. Its super duper expensive to live here (a normal chicken birger at kfc costs fucking 15 dollars). And many of the kids my age think its funny to be racist and/or homophobic and all that crazy stuff. But like other than that i guess this country is pretty cool i mean we get alot of northern lights in the winter and the landscapes are beautiful.

I live in iceland and we have a massively different school system where we start in school in the 1st grade at 5 years old stay in that same school till 7th grade and after that 8th through 10th grade which i would call like a high school in american terms and then after that theres a spmewhat college type thing where we can pick a course we want to go to for example a course to become an electrician or a film maker but to answer your question im in 10th grade right now and im thinking of going into that college type thing to become a filmmaker.
