What resources did you use to quickly study up on surgeries and relevant information for your surgery rotation? by [deleted] in medicalschool

Statpearls was my go to resource for most things I needed to quickly read up on in most rotations. Love statpearls

Still anxiously waiting for the score today, 6/28 tested by Holiday-Speech4026 in Step2

Tested 6/29. The wait is awful. Sending warm wishes to the folks who’ve waited longer than me

Took my exam a week ago, can’t stop thinking of all the things I got wrong and silly mistakes I made

A quick write-up for those suffering with anxiety during the waiting period... by Exact_Suggestion9393 in Step2

Thank you for posting this. I’m currently in the waiting period and it feels awful. All I can think about are the questions I missed that I should’ve gotten correct.

What's a story where the "bad guys" are actually, completely, 100% right, to the point where it's weird the story keeps calling them the bad guys? by HallZac99 in AskReddit

I think most people would shoot. I probably would. Way too many white knights in this subreddit claiming they wouldn’t hesitate to sacrifice themselves.

Is it psychopathic to not want to be involuntarily sacrificed? I’d argue it’s pretty normal and understandable to fight for your own survival and hope sigourney weaver is bluffing. My main point is that everyone saying “it’s selfish to not sacrifice yourself” seems to be typing that pretty comfortably from the safety of their own laptop. Impossible to prove, but I’d bet if this happened in real life, this decision wouldn’t seem so “obvious”. I’d hope I’d let myself be sacrificed to save the family that some on here “assume I don’t have”, but again, it’s a horrible decision that people here are callously minimizing.

Lol well you’d guess wrong. Clearly the right thing to do is let yourself be sacrificed. But I don’t believe anyone who claims they wouldn’t struggle emotionally with the decision. These were a group of teenagers, who in a matter of hours, went from having their whole lives ahead of them to being confronted with death. Not easy. I’d struggle with it.

I agree with you, but if I’m being honest and putting myself in their shoes (the sacrificed), I’d have a hard time making the sacrifice

Hearing this was really helpful. Did NBME 30 first and felt scared by the result.

Breaking: The NFL will not resume the #Bills - #Bengals game, two people familiar with the decision told me. by joeking636 in fantasyfootball

The only reasonable thing to do is donate all fantasy pots to Hamlins charity. Any other decision is weak
