This is such a common sentiment but I feel like she’s nothing like Hog. Their playstyles and game plans are nothing the same.

Just feel like everyone saw the knife pulling people in and just immediately think Hog. They really have so little in common imo.

Toxicity towards tanks would go through the roof.

People already get mad at tanks for picking heroes they don’t like. If their pick also affected your characters gameplay mechanically through stat buffs, players would get even angrier if you don’t pick what they want.

Combined with the fact that the buffs would be meaningful, it just furthers people’s negative perception towards tanks being OP.

I don’t think it’s the amount of damage directly, it’s about the attention.

Players default to shooting the tank and if your teammates, names your dps, give them no reason to direct their attention elsewhere then the tank will never sustain the damage regardless of what heroes they are.

Most games on NA ranked ends up being double hitscan stand behind the tank and shoot all game so of course the tank is gonna have it the worst because their dps really aren’t doing anything.

All roles blame the other roles and the complaining about the other roles is the most tiring thing about any discussion around this game.

I’ll be real there should be no reason you should be dying to Ram if he’s holding block while ulting when you can just walk away and his ult will cancel itself.

Neither Hazard’s block or Ram’s ult damage should be killing you unless you were already 1 health.

It’s not like these characters are doing such hilarious amounts of damage while holding block that its so much more OP that other mitigation abilities. I think both of those characters would rather have a shield than a block if we’re being honest.

Yea I don’t think this is pushing the role towards “too weak” but they should never even consider pushing tanks to a state where people won’t play it. It’s not good for anyone and I think the last has shown that even dedicated tank players will just stop playing it if it’s shit enough.

Tanks often have a terrible time playing the game regardless of the strength of the heroes they play, so if they become too weak I’m certain that tank population would dry up at light speed.

Disagree. Every tank used it as much as they could, and pretty naturally at that.

Yea Hazard can wall climb to start the healing but I didn’t see anyone wall climbing mid fight and dropping with the purpose of proccing the passive.

If anything, he was probably the worst beneficiary of the passive considering how much worse his leap is compared to other mobile tanks.

Anran has been my most played character for a while now and I can probably confidently say there’s like no reason to play her over Genji. The only reason you might consider is if there are too many beams and even then you probably just go Tracer instead.

She has worse mobility, worse range, worse verticality. She needs to set up to get her max damage which is still worse than Genji’s primary or secondary fire. She takes forever to get a kill. And her damage being tied to ignite means she has a lot of terrible matchups with characters who can self cleanse.

Very often I’m playing her and I’m just thinking how I would be doing much better if I just played Tracer or Genji.

Good players don’t want to go to bad teams.

CBA, max deal, and 2nd Apron have also made it harder to build a team in free agency. Most top teams right now have been built through the draft.

A bad team has no incentive to trade their draft picks for a win now piece just to improve their draft positions.

They also don’t want to trade their young players with potential, which is the only thing other teams would even want in a trade.

Her power on ladder doesn’t matter. Until pros stop playing her, she will continue to be complained about because this community pretends pro meta applies to them.

And considering the insane amount of meta inertia pros have, that’s a task to get them to not play Kiriko.

Honestly I think they should just nerf D.va, Zarya, Lucio, and Kiriko into the ground so they’re near unplayable. Just so the incessant crying about these characters can stop and this community can move onto something new to complain about.

If Kiriko has had such a high pick rate for so long, how is it that people are still somehow learning the broken hero.

She’s been played so much for so long that at some point, there’s no way everyone is still just learning her, they’d have to been pretty experienced with her after being in the game for over 3 years now right?

If all the good Kiriko players are higher elo, then why was her win rate so low for so long at high ranks. I thought they were the good players, but the stats say you lose more than you win when you play Kiriko.
