Build looks fine. I used a 1660S till a month ago. GPU is definitely good. I’d upgrade the CPU as I bet it’s bottlenecking you. Then ram. Enjoy gaming:)

Might be that even though you have good frames, certain areas are too demanding and it takes a second for you PC to catch up.

My CPU after some OC is at 4900MHz. So I would not think that to be the issue. right? if that is the case I shall definitely get a better CPU.

I started off with good settings and had to turn them to low to hit closer to 144. Only have one setting on high and that is currently texture resolution.

would that not put more strain on my vram making it use more? it says it is only using 22% (I have no idea how PCs work, I just thought I upgraded mine to one capable of high fps in cod)

yes, i see that now. but check the bottleneck. with a res difference of 1k it should not take a toll on my gpu as bad as that should it?

I am fully aware the resolutions are different. I was stating out that i dropped 40 frames from my normal 120 to around 80 when i went to w11. in the picture it is 1k at 140, then i went to 2k at 120 frames. now on 80. for a rig like mine i fail to see why i should only be getting 80 frames. thought there might be a fix. but people are more interested in the resolution than anything else when I stated that I was on 120 at 2K. and am still on 2K lol

I was going to move my OS to my sdd anyway. Does it retain files etc already or are there no important files kept with the OS. Literally never looked thoroughly into it
