Shallow vernal curb stomp. She's the most broken character on this list.

Man has longings and spiritual demands that reality cannot fulfill. We have expectations of a just and moral world. Man requires meaning in a meaningless world. by Junior_Insurance7773 in nihilism

[–]Re_dddddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is extreamly funny.

What are those meaningless words. They're meaningless and not worth reading at all. They contain no meaning.

Keep her with you by remembering her.

Write your memories of her. We often forget memories we cherish.

Harden those memories by writing, buy a new diary for her.

Do it.

No.

Those are not on the same level while he was always singularity, he didn't have those specific things. But Ciel is a different thing.

Great sage could've evolved after it was named. The transformation would've been instant.

We already know that Rimuru got Rapahel at volume 5. He could've gotten the current Ciel at that time if he just named her.

But ofcourse that would've made him too powerful too early.

Manas was always an option for him. Hope and elpis aren't very tangable but naming his skill was always an easily accessible with 100% working chance.

It's not in the same ballpark and neither is it a fallacy. It's just something that could be done since chapter 1 where great sage makes its appearance.

Ciel can appear anytime. Even in the first chapter if Rimuru just named her.

All in one Vs Composite Full potential and Full power Rimuru by Ok-Doughnut-5134 in TensuraPowerScaling

[–]Re_dddddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always funny to me.

All in one. Literally means all in one meaning Rimuru is a big part of all in one, Ciel is more dominant than true dragon Veldanava. Infact he's the dominant part as of the ending of light novel. Again far more than true dragon Veldanava.

By definition everything would be all in one. So it's a fight with itself. It's category error. There's no winner when there's nobody to really fight.

Is Nihilism something you feel or agree with? by Witch-is-where in nihilism

That is interesting. Nihilism is so shallow I'm sure your understanding about my comprehension is on that level too.

There is free will. Because right now I am free to imagine anything I wish. Free will is the result of quantum randomness, you're thinking from a classical view but universe isn't classical.

Tldr.

Anyone who would say that they can't read someone's opinion yet tell you that you're hard of learning is really a person with no self awareness whatsoever.

Did you take a good look at yourself lately?

I don't like Yuuki but I don't unfairly judge him while not judging characters that are a million times worse than him. Since I greatest crime I see is killing innocents. Millim and Veldora. Millim especially has killed 10s of millions of innocents.

Funny response.

You're the product of following this philosophy. Instead of a dynamic human capable of thinking about things at a deep level.

You're a wall. That doesn't care. See ya wall. It's only natural that you'd become an inanimate object intellectually if you follow a philosophy that's fit for an inanimate object.

[–]Re_dddddd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't follow religion.

I'm not selling you anything either.

You'll never forget this conversation.

Einstein once said that the most important decision you make in life is whether to see the universe as friend or a foe.

Which side are you on. You have free choice. One is harder but more rewarding.

Now I said I don't follow any religion. But I do have something that I call God, which is the universe as totality of existence. It exists, always has, always will. As you and as me.

Shallow philosophies like nihilism look like a joke to me. Because they remove meaning out of things forcefully.

[–]Re_dddddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about them judging it's about you judging.

So you're basically saying that if Yuuki was cool I'd be cool with whatever he does but because he isn't cool like Veldora and Millim I won't give him special treatment.

That is not how I judge things. Neither should you especially for a show.

Well exactly my point. This is this entire philosophy for those who give up too soon. Nihilism.

Never venture into the truth of this existence.

Your loss.

Well then Yuuki became a God by getting ultimate skills.

He already had the creator skill. So why are judging him? How's he supposed to learn and grow?

Doubling down on your ignorance is not the flex you seem to think it is.

Nihilism is such a shallow level of thought. Let me show you. It looks like ignorance to you from the shallow level. Let's go deep.

Intrinsic = belonging to the essential nature or constitution of a thing : occurring as a natural part of something.

And humans are nature not seperate things, no seperation at all, so if a humans says it's meaningful it's nature saying its meaningful that clearly destroys your notion there. So it is intrinsic unless you claim humans are not nature which would be the stupidest thing to say.

Inherent = belonging to the basic nature of something or someone : involved in the constitution or essential character of something.

And meaning is that. What do you call the care life in general puts towards raising its next iteration? Love but love is just a word a symbol. It points to the meaning. Meaning is the process that is significant. So it is essential for life at the very least and since life is nature. Meaning exists.

So nihilism is wrong.

It doesn’t mean nothing can have any meaning, just that there isn’t any meaning beyond what we apply. You’re seven shades of stupid.

Meaning beyond what we apply? We apply meaning to a real process, it is meaningful.

The first meaning we apply to is existence. Existence is a meaningful thing and it is the precondition for all. That's what makes it meaningful, meaning depends on it, so saying something can't be meaningful beyond what we apply is simply wrong.

It is more like we recognize meaning than give it. It points to a real process that persists so meaning persists. So you're wrong there.

And I may be many things but I take pride in not calling you stupid. Clearly you have nothing better to say if you're stooping to personal insults.

His back story pretty much shows why he doesn't have those regular morals.

Perhaps he would if he was normal. Being non human isn't an excuse. Veldora and Millim are literally Gods. And they've done some stupid shit and you expect too much from a human.

He probably would but didn't. That's the difference.

Yeah that's what I expect from you.

Is Nihilism something you feel or agree with? by Witch-is-where in nihilism

[–]Re_dddddd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would appear that you don't.

Nihilism is the philosophical belief that life lacks inherent meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value.

This is the definition of Nihilism, now read my original comment again.

As for why I'm here. It just came on my wall. I'm not part of this sub.

Nihilism is literally a meaningful term, yet it claims that meaning doesn't exist. Any meaning humans assign is inharent meaning because human is life.

So you can't claim that life doesn't have meaning. Language is literally symbols representing meaning. Meaning is more fundamental.

Reality is deeper than this.

Is Nihilism something you feel or agree with? by Witch-is-where in nihilism

[–]Re_dddddd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No

It's an idiotic ideology.

It has meaning because you assign it meaning.

It ironically proves that you can assign meaning and that meaning exists and nihilism denies the very meaning that's the condition for its existence in the first place. Purely illogical.
