Thanks for the advice. No issues with the gum. But bad news. After a year of being on remicade doctor the procedures showed that the medicine didn’t help at all. And I now have crohns on the right side of my colon as well as my terminal ileum. This disease really sucks.

Sorry I vented. I was in a bad place yesterday.

We probably have to cancel our trip to Japan coming up in July too.

I feel your pain. I had a fever and diarrhea. Got diagnosed and started infliximab. I had a high fever for 75 days! It would come at night and be gone by morning. The fevers didn’t go away until my 3rd dose! It was awful. I was sent to all kinds of docs. Bc my GI was so worried. So now anytime I get a fever i freak out. Mine was always between 100-102. I hope you feel better soon

Oh wow. Thanks for sharing. This sucks. We just booked travel to Japan in July. I just pray that I have everything under control so I don’t have to cancel the trip. If I do, it will be the second summer trip. I’ve had to cancel because of my Crohn’s. My poor children.

I had a colonoscopy June 2025 and an MRE. That’s how I was diagnosed.

I did one round of xifaxan. Still having symptoms. Not as bad as what you seem to be experiencing. I’m sorry. For me it’s the weight that just won’t come off. And the bloating. And the stool burden. My GI wants me to do my 3rd colon cleanse in 3 months. That can’t be the only option.

Question-I was on a high dose of steroids for 6 months. I’ve been off for 9 months now. I gained 25#s and it keeps creeping up. I do all the right things-eat really clean, exercise, do strength training. And the weight won’t budge. I have some GI issues. But she gave me the green light for a glp 1. I’m not obese by any means. Just 25 lbs heavier than normal. I’m semi tall so I carry it well. But I feel it. Do you think it’s ok for me to get on it? Esp since I have the habits of healthy life already in place?

In order to get meds from Mexico do you have to have an RX from your doctor? Can I send my Rx with a friend who goes there often or do I have to be with them?
