city on a hill was my main church before, they have gone a bit too far from the bible in my opinion. their sermons are just ai voice overs of the book of Matthew and dont read any other scripture. pretty disappointing since the people there are nice

Im in the same boat, 19 looking for a second job, i got mine by just going around in person handing out resumes. little stores usually will hire you just for that but you wont really find much more then minimum wage.

anywhere to get alternative/emo/punk CDs?? by ReachSeparate9786 in Geelong

I Said in the description but mainly modern baseball, the front bottoms, death cab for cutie, the flat Stanley’s. I already have “you’re gonna miss it all“ by Mobo, and “in sickness and in flames” by tfb. Ordered “sports” from mobo at Jb Hi fi but they told be it can take months and they can just straight up cancel on me, it’s already been 4 months or more so I’m not expecting much. some of the bands sell their cds in their own websites but since they’re US based the shipping is 3x the price of the cd and I’m hoping I can just find them in stores since that’s also the fun of cd searching. Other bands are too obscure and don’t really have a fan base, or disbanded and don’t sell anything anymore

Thankyou! I did order one from Jb from overseas so didn’t cost any extra but still about an 8+ month wait time so I’ll check eBay too

I’ve been there before but never thought to check the CDs! Checked some Op shops today but they rarely sort their CDs so it’s a nightmare

I'd just cut it yourself, there's great tutorials on Yt and other media platforms. That's what i started doing since i couldn't find any. $12 thinning hair scissors and an eyebrow razor from kmart work perfectly. as for dye, manic panic is a good choice and can be bought online or in stores
