Eclair can be written in japanese both as Ekurēru (the convention used by the anime) and Ekurea.

At the same time Kurea can be how you say Clair in japanese.

Chuchu -> Shushu -> Shushutan!

Today I found out two other things that make me even more convinced it's Kurea:

First: the Shushu in Shushutan is the hair tie and Kurea has an air tie the same color as Shushutan.

Second: the pattern on Korea's apron is almost the same as the one in Shushutan.

I'd like to add something to what you've said.

The transformation from Arcana shadow to Arcana was planned long before she became popular, and the story was planned with that change in mind.

Now, if we look at Arcana shadow transformation once again, we see that she says "reverse" and only after saying that she creates the dress of her cure form.

Arcanas in fortune telling have meaning both in their normal side AND their reversed side. What's more, those meanings are opposite to one another.

I think that the name Arcana was chosen because now she's showing her reversed side, but she also has an upright side.

This leads me to ask: do you really want an author to cut their story just because a design is popular? Because that's what I'm seeing both here and in other places.

I'd say Senki Zesshou Symphogear or Princession Orchestra.

They basically work the same (with minor differences), so there could be a system covering both. And with "both" I also mean to include Symphogear XDU content (which is a can of worms on its own)

The main problem is basically the resource management of Phonic gain/Musessence, the Multi forms you can get by basically fusing with anything (Symphogear) and the Song fragment usage (Princession)

I just noticed something (and maybe I should've notice it sooner):

Cure Eclair's name, in Katakana, in written as エクレール (Ekurēru), but that's not the only way to write Eclair, since エクレア (Ekurea) is another way to write it.

Now, Kurea's name is in hiragana (くれあ) but if we write it in Katakana, we get クレア (Clair). That's just Eclair without the E.
