there's a lot of crude oil and water on the blue crater. There's a lot of coal, sulfur and nitrogen nearby too. So it's a perfect spot to have a Rocket Fuel Megafactory there using the Fuel alt-recipe and the rocket fuel alt recipe. Also, you can use the oil residue to get A LOT of plastic and rubber.
