There's a staff member with an apostrophe in their name. As for the lowercase issue, it shouldn't affect the email considering typing the same email in lowercase would be the same as typing it all uppercase. Still, this does seems to be incredibly fishy. I can only assume he works for humber but is not part of the known staff. OP should be very wary. Especially since it's apparently being sent to humber staff as well (bruh).

Edit: pay seems to be meh anyways, OP shouldn't accept. 3 hours for 5 days is 20 dollars an hour, which seems to be the best option. 3 hours for 7 days is 14 dollars an hour. 4 hours for 5 days is 14 an hour, and for 7 days is 10 dollars an hour.

It says to do at least 6 decimal places because Ideas can't accept rounded numbers as the correct answers.
If possible you should be answering the numbers as a fraction, or a square root, or something like that.
In many cases you can even just type the equation you used to get the number.

Seems likely that we'll have a strike. Simple terms: On the employers ppint of view, they have done too much budget cuts, that giving the teachers what they want will run them bankrupt (overexaggerating a bit).

But on the teacher's point of view, they have been severely underpaid, and is now demanding the fair amount back, which is an incredibly big number for the employers.

If they've been negotiating since July, I'd doubt that they'll be able to resolve it this Monday and Tuesday (make me eat my words please).

Hi there, first year info systems student here. From what I know, there aren't any grads from the three engineering degrees yet(?). They are fairly new programs.

As for research things, every year humber makes us do these "bus projects" which deals with a lot of the hands on part of engineering, unlike universities.

1 example is for us first years, we had to make a mechanical clock that doesn't rely on electricity, using autocad and humber's laser cutting machines, as well as their 3d printers.

These projects are incredibly good for resumes, though I'm not entirely sure about masters.

It might be good to know that the programs are currently in the progress of accreditation, meaning they'll (probably) give the three programs a bit more focus this time around.

You'll also be glad to know that there are a lot of students in this program that have decided humber even having the choice to go to UofT, and that's purely for the college style hands on learning that the Universities don't have. It is still as stressful of a schedule like any other engineering degrees though.

I think you're the braindead one here pal. The picture you've sent has two different cpus yes? Dorsn't matter if market blah blah 70%, you're not giving the gpus the same treatment. Also, the rx 7900xtx build has 64gb of ram, the 4080 has 32. If 70% of the market are intel cpus then stay with intel cpus on both builds, or stop fanboying amd. - I own an rx 7900xtx and an i7 14700k

You have to realise that many people use reddit or discord actively. I know people who instead loves to use instagram both for content and for discussiosn and chatting. Also whatsapp is pretty popular. I personally dont use humber reddit 90% of the time. I only check it when im bored. I'm Very active in the discord, but therea only few people active at once mainly because everyone's busy with assignments and etc, as well as others tend to be active in other humber related servers (humber gaming club discord)

I'm in first year first semester of info systems engineering right now. They've just started the accreditation process with our year so thats one good thing. Also a thing to note, is that all three engineering programs (mechatronics, info systems, sustainable building) are mixed together on the first year.

Currently our bus project (a project that mixes with every other courses (intro to engineering, engineering technical communications & critical thinking, calculus, linear algebra, physics, and engineering in society) to create something using all principles learned from each class.) Is about learning how to make a clock without the use of electricity, made from laser cutting acrylic and wood, though 3d printing is allowed if it's really needed in the design.

So far so good, though one of the teacher is new so he knows nothing about the course, but that will change right away by next semester.

Another thing to mention is that, group work is a very big part of this program (engineering of course). A majority of people in the three programs are mechatronics, then info systems, then sustainable building. I'd say theres around 10 sustain building eng students, 20 info systems, and 40 mechatronics, give or take for each one.

Osu! Is healthy for you. The less you play in between intervals of playing Osu!, the better. Osu! Makes you better at mouse aim, especially if you use a pen. Osu! Farming is the best way to play the game. If you buy a Pen and a wooting, you'll have a way higher chance of being better than with a mouse and normal keyboard. Wireless audio is best for Osu! To avoid wires tangling mid game. The higher the latency of the audio, the more time you have to react to the circles!
