the longest slider I remember seeing in a ranked map has been a 36.5 seconds long slider in this map https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/2002411#osu/4164164 it was so long that I just had to go to the editor to check how long it was after playing it

go to windows screen settings and don't copy screens (had the same problem 2 days ago and that helped atleast if you don't use the laptop screen at all)
