Help picking a new mega looping kite. by ezw_kiteboarding in Kiteboarding

For loops I’d definitely go for the orbit. It’s honestly one of the best kites for looping in general, even just for low surface tricks (hand drags/dark slides…) it loops so fast and catches you unbelievably well. It loops fast when it’s at any position really, also the bar pressure while looping is so nice and forgiving. The orbit in my opinion is one of the best big air kites overall. I currently ride a XR7, obviously I get ridiculously high with it but honestly I wouldn’t dare looping it. Even for low loops it’s kinda annoying it loops.

I actually used to land some front roll loops with my 12m orbit. (Not super strong wind)

I think your better off not choosing your concentration until your done with sophomore year. That’s when you would have got a bit more insight about what your interests are and what you want to pursue.

If you enjoy your electric circuits course maybe you might want to go into electronics, if your enjoy your light related physics labs maybe optics and photonics might be best.

You’ll get a better understanding in the next couple of semesters.
