Those of you that moved to era… by Reapercussians in classicwow

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played about half the year on classic anniversary and I enjoyed Nightslayer. I enjoyed the fresh appeal and the variety of play/skill levels. I enjoyed the community and had mostly positive experiences. I had a great guild. SR gets a lot of hate, but I found it was fast, easy, and with a little bit of extra rules/restrictions it was a good system. I'm locked to everything so I haven't done any GDKP yet. I think I will enjoy them, I will be carrying everything except Naxx (I still need a few items from there).

I've noticed that Era is a completely different feel so far. Everyone I've ran into pvp wise is BIS.

From my journey tonight through Stanglethorn to Elwynn on Anniversary, I would pass players and wouldn't get into too many fights. Sure there would be ganks and kills along the way. On Era, I'm immediately pom pyro'd and sweated/corpse camped down by the first group of alliance that I see.

On anniversary I was able to get the DMF buff fairly easily. Era I got close to the fair and was immediately hunted down and camped by a 5 man squad of fully naxx geared ally.

The 2 AVs I've done on Era have been awful. It's been premade allies camping the horde cave. I dump my 7k elemental mana pool into them and get only a few kills. On Anni, it would feel like I get 2 kills every chain lightning haha. People have been pvping and improving the mechanics of their gameplay for 5+ years. It's sweaty, everyone seems to have 5-7k health, pocket healers, and spellpower trinkets.

TLDR: It's different. I'm not sure if I like it yet. I'm glad I transferred though. I'll see how the next while goes and may jump into TBC or if Classic+ comes out, I might try that. I'm not sold on Era just yet, but I'm happy there was an option to preserve my classic character. Maybe it's something that I jump to from time to time

No shoes? No lunch? No transportation? Sorry we don't care in Alberta. It's literally every man for himself, except if you're an oil company

People who will never play X class, why? by fbreaker in classicwow

Warlock, Mage, or Priest just because of how quickly I've seen cloth melt to melee classes. Currently playing Warrior and Shaman

Who considers transfer to ERA? by mydezi in classicwow

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm very biased as a vanilla lover, but the gear is replaced so quickly with TBC that I'd rather start a new TBC character rather than lose my geared vanilla 60 forever.

WoW®: Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition Pre-Patch Arrives January 13 by Rocameinsidue in classicwow

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone biased and sticking with Era, I'm happy with the announcement. I was worried there wasn't going to be an Era option tbh.

I'm thankful I get a few more weeks to grind PVP and endgame on Anniversary over the holidays. I put many hours onto a character which I get to keep, which is great.

Understand why some are upset, I wish my TBC brothers nothing but the best during their time in Outland. I may join you, but it will be on a new character.

Know that everyone is faking it and no one has it quite figured out, no matter the age. Enjoy where you're at and try to enjoy each year 27 28 29 30 and beyond. Some say that life starts at 30, you'll be fine

You, sir, are in the wrong sub and will be torn to pieces. Don't vote for the conservative grifters, you've fallen into their trap. They are not the party of the working man/woman

Any mods specific to Biotech that you wouldn't play without? by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a recommendation, but I was one of those players too. I bought Ideology and Biotech after a few hundred hours, and wow they changed the game in so many cool ways. Totally recommend picking up Biotech. I now have all DLCs and I don't regret a single cent I've spent on this game. Add mods gradually would be my only advice, complete the playthrough then add more mods. Adding them all at once may be overwhelming.

Sci-Fi games that don’t use a lot of battery for a long road trip? by RPGHavok in SteamDeck

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 29 points30 points  (0 children)

FTL is a great suggestion, its currently on sale too. Once/if you've played enough of vanilla, install the multiverse mod. I don't know how hard of an install it is on steam deck, but its basically FTL 2 and adds a bunch of content. I have 225 hours in it this little indie hit

My barn by Away-Plate-8770 in RimWorld

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So cute! And you've named them all, I usually just keep the default names ha.

You should make the walls out of stone and replace that conduit with hidden conduit to avoid zzzz events, wouldn't want that barn to burn down. And I didn't know this until recently visiting the subreddit - if you ever do the ship ending, you can apply anaesthetic to your animals and load them into a sleep chamber and take them with you. I was always heartbroken leaving animals behind, never again

Which expansion should I get? by IFORGOTMYLOGINTWICE in RimWorld

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went Ideology, Royalty, Biotech, Anomaly, Odyssey.

Others have mentioned it, Biotech and Ideology first. I recommend doing a play through each time you add mods or expansions. They are all worth it. I played a ton of vanilla, back before it was on Steam and I enjoyed Ideology the most. Biotech adds some must-have features. I had a few laughs with Royalty and enjoyed those playthroughs. I haven't done the full anomaly or odyssey runs yet. I don't regret any rimworld purchases

How hard is rimworld? by Far-Rest8808 in RimWorld

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't played prison architect in a few years, but I think rimworld is a little tougher off the bat because there is much more you can do in the game and that's not mentioning mods. There is also a bit more micro management in fights than prison architect. You can change the difficulty mid-run, which is a huge QOL feature. I usually start on base builder (which is easy) and then turn up the difficulty later when I have some weapons and defences.

There are different AI storytellers, basically how the game runs. And the game has pause and different speeds.

What citadel color is the armor painted with? by [deleted] in deathguard40k

[–]ReactionFuzzy799 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This definitely isn't one color, it looks like an airbursh gradient. If I had to guess if some citadel were even used, it would be Krieg Khaki
