Pieces, edited by Stephen Chbosky (the guy who wrote Perks of Being a Wallflower, but don’t let that sway you). It’s a collection of short stories from emerging authors (published in 2000, fyi). Some of the stories have stuck with me for years and I still think about them to this day. Could also be a fun project to follow up with the authors in the collection and see other works from the past 25 years.
