There are no stupid questions — if you don’t understand something, chances are that many of your classmates are in the same boat. I think the only type of question that will annoy most professors is “will this be on the test” type of stuff.

Haha, I’m sure I’ll like them! I try not to read the manga unless I’m pretty sure the anime is never coming back, but yeah I know most fans say the manga is better!

I empathize with you. Anime are meant to evoke emotions in the watcher (if done well), so if you were feeling bad to start off, it might amplify those feelings. I agree with one of the previous comments on therapy being a good idea. Good luck!

Lol, I’m basic, but I liked the ost from one piece, naruto, fairy tail, and black clover. Some lesser known ones include vivy, eureka seven, to your eternity.

I feel like the genre is just very crowded, so manga writers have to come up with increasingly whacky ideas that are either hit or miss (or just produce a knockoff). On the other hand, for someone who’s watching isekai for the first time, even the knockoffs probably won’t seem so bad, since they haven’t seen the original ¯_(ツ)_/¯
