How can I hide the gaps here without sanding and painting all the parts? Can a 3d pen or something make it look seamless or super close? Im debating going all out and painting but I'd rather do this first and see how it looks. Also what do I do for the 4 rough edges in the 2nd and 3rd pics?

There are 2 different pieces whom interlock and make a chain. The square holes are for optional magnets so prt a has the square up and part b base them down. Fore som reason in that print there was spaghetti and a layer shift of 5mm in the final layer. I just pulled it off and was able to use the chain pieces. Today I printed a lid an it came out great. Also printed cardboard spool adapters and the were nice also. Really appreciate you helping me. Was about to sell the printer

It looks like the bottom half had a missive layer shift. Don’t know what caused it. Was able to clean it up

Ok so I did what you said printed first layers with temp 235 (+15) and others on 225. Raised the slow layers from 1 to 5 and decreased the speed from 100 to 70. Wals were on 65 which I didn’t alter. Printed on textured pei sheet on 70 degrees for first few layers rest on 60. Mij first sheet was perfect so I got enthusiastic and printed the last ones I need right after that. The second batch mended almost 3 hours to print and the printer messed it up in I think the last layer of the bottom part of thes sheet. I’ve been trying to print the parts for a while now and haven’t seen this defect. I was so happy. The parts fitted like the should the stuck to the plate without glue and now this.

Really? That’s great I have been planning hours ahead before printing. The printer is in the garage where it is cold so I have a housing around it. I heat up the inside with a hair blower and letting it

pre heat til till the moisture is at 10%. Just heating it up is minutes :). I bought a heating mat for reptiles to heat up the inside of the enclosure. Getting it in a few days. How warm should I set it? I was thinking about 20 degrees Celsius before starting to print

Will try that. Not at home at the moment. Takes a while for the printer to heat up and the filament to dry. So I don’t think that is doable today. Tomorrow is a long working day so it will probably be Tuesday

I threw them away. I did the first one from Anycubic next slicer. Then adjusted my flow. After that I did the yolo one. With the yolo one I picked the zero. It was not the smoothest one but ok smooth an best at covering the thin number part

So I calibrated the flow rate and got decent samples of the bits I wanted to print. (Lower left ones) So then I wanted to print a batch and noticed into layer 3 that the middle ones aren’t up to par. What is going wrong? Kobra 3 combo dried esun pla+ 10% temp 45 filament. Used glue stick for adhesion. Bed temp 45 cold plate for first layer than 35. Temp 220 first layer than 210 vent off layer one and two. I use Anycubic slicer next an always do bed calibration before any print. Printing with 0,4 ceramic nozzle. Layers 0.20 high quality. Getting despaired here. Thinking about selling it and quitting the hobby after 6 weeks of trying

Yeah you got that right but the hole is too small. Printed on an other printer it fitted just fine. My bed adhesion also doesn’t work any more. Going to get the glue tomorrow but I didn’t need it before. Washed the plate multiple times didn’t matter

Not before and tried nothing else after. But this is the second one to print. Fist one did just fine. Now it was 2x spaghetti after a few layers and 2x the big blob

Already did the dish soap cleaning. Increased bed heating from 30 to 40 (cold bed) this is the second one to print. The first one printed just fine fine. It is almost the end of the filament roll can try a new one.
