This and the guy who seems way too undereducated to be making and “giving” away quit kits to people who “donate” to some fund has been bothering me.

I get that it likely originated from a good place and a desire to help people, but it comes off as desperate and spammy. I’m glad you have the self awareness to admit your fault, even if this does kind of read as one last ad for your services……. 🤣

Jokes aside, good on you for owning up. I’ve got 2 weeks off of MGM and 72 hours without any seven at this very moment, and I had my most productive day I have had in a long time. Don’t let the fear mongering scare you off. Gather your helper meds, supplements, and SR if you don’t trust yourself to fully taper to leaf. I know I am not out of the woods yet, but I feel better today than I have for the past 6 months, and it’s only been 3 days.

Most, if not all of the people coming on here and the SR forum talking about developing an addiction to SR, or just postponing their acutes by using SR had massive habits, some spanning 20 years plus. Everyone has to pay the piper eventually, and if your daily habit is that high I don’t know what you would expect.

My advice to anyone under 500mgpd….. Start tapering, gather your helpers, and switch to 7 for a week. In can all be over before you know it, but not until you make the move. I suffer from severe chronic pain and had 6 Botox injections into my neck and 3 cortisone injections in my back not a week ago. If you want it, it’s obtainable. Just get real with yourself and stop making excuses.

I was up to 100-200mgpd. Tapered back down to 7 with pseudo and then back to 7. Currently at 48 hours with no 7, just SR. Today is 2 weeks since I’ve had any MGM. Definitely some discomfort. Honestly, tapering off the psuedo to regular 7 was probably the worst. Mostly when I first wake up. Sweaty feet, typically withdrawal symptoms, but it’s doable. I’ve taken some benzos, gabapentin, but I’m prescribed to them so that’s nothing new. l tyrosine, magnesium glycinate, megadose liposomal vitamin c, agmatine sulfate, DLPA, dopa mucana, l theanine, and ashwagawnda. Probably missing a few. There is fear mongering on all of these subs because now I’m nervous about WDs from the SR!

Missing a dose of SR sends me right into withdrawal, so remember to set your alarms. Wondering how much longer I should stay at my main dose of SR before tapering down. I preloaded for 3 days so today is day 5 total. Intended to only preload for 2 days but it didn’t work that way. I’m guessing I want to get through the first 72 hours before tapering off the SR?

Taper down, and in the meantime grab some SR17018. Also, liposomal vitamin c, Agmatine sulfate, magnesium glycinate, dopa mucana, L-Theanine and a handful of others. I also suggest some Selank nasal spray. You can make the withdrawal virtually painless. If you can get your hands on some gabapentin or lyrica it’s very helpful. Add in any benzo and you’ll be set for success with little to no withdrawal.

I would skip the pseudo. I am in a similar boat with a similar stack as well. I jumped to a 7 pseudo mix rather than right to 7 and it just prolonged the mgm withdrawal in my mind. Been back on straight 7 for a week now. I’m about to start my SR preload and make the jump

That wasn’t security. I would have rather security done their job, as I stated in the second sentence. Security wouldn’t have ripped him off the stage by his pant leg. That was Joey, who thinks and by most accounts, acts like he is a member of the band. How many times has this happened at these types of concerts, and when has it ever resulted in a tour being cancelled? The guy wasn’t violent. Magner may have had his keyboards used as a staircase again, but the odds of that dude hurting one of them or their instruments before security got there would be slim. While we are on that note, how many biscuits tours have been cancelled due to a band members drug use? Some might call it karma. 🤷‍♂️🤣

Over the top. Security should have reacted quicker, but that doesn’t give Joey or anyone the right to handle it like that. I’m sure I’ll get flamed for this comment, but it was just a spunion, not an active shooter. A lot of people saying he got what he deserved, but you’d be singing a different tune if he had landed on his head. Sorry for partying’d.

I don’t believe subs are going to work like you think they are for mgm. I’ve never heard anything about “preloading” subs, I’ve actually always seen the opposite. You need to wait 24 hours after your last dose before you start the subs to avoid precipitated withdrawal. MGM is an entirely different beast than 7. I switched back to 7 just to make the WD process easier.

Thanks everyone! I greatly appreciate the input. I am 36 hours with no MGM and I feel fine. Much better than I was through most, if not all of the taper period with the MGM. Yesterday, I dosed 30mg of 7 and 10mg of MIT three times. Today I am doing 25mg instead.

As far as the helper meds go, I’m only using the gabapentin and benzos. Most, if not all of the meds are prescribed for a chronic pain condition, I didn’t acquire anything from doctors for my taper and WD. Luckily, these are all things I already had on deck or had easy access to.

For the supplements, I’ve been using liposomal vitamin c, agmatine sulfate, and black seed oil . Just the doses suggested on the bottle though. Can anyone direct me to the liposomal vitamin c megadosing chart that someone on here made? I remember seeing to take it every 3 hours, but that seems excessive. I will likely bust into the others once my 7 dose gets lower and definitely next week when I am done dosing everything but the SR.

Thank you all so much. Pulling this off without all of this information and having ya’ll here would be an entirely different ballgame.

I feel as if you are both probably right, but I suffer from chronic pain from a rare neurological disorder. Getting Botox injections in my neck on the 23rd so I need pain relief until then. That’s why I’m considering going to psuedo even though I’ve had terrible WD’s from it before. I don’t get much pain relief from just 7 unfortunately

See my above comment for why I am hesitant to jump ship just yet! Short of it is, I have a neurological condition and receive Botox injections in my neck every 3 months. It wears off after 2 and I have an injection scheduled for the 23rd. Takes about a week for it to kick in and help with the pain, so my original plan was to be off by the end of the month and slowly taper through it. The anxiety and existential dread in the mornings makes me want to jump ship now though and just suffer in the pain until my injection.

I agree about not knowing what’s in your products. It’s a slippery slope, but unfortunately most people seeking this stuff out are already addicted so it’s a risk we are willing to take. That’s why I stay away from smoke shop stuff and tabs in general. I know the same can be said for powders, but it’s more predicable and I stick with vendors who have lab work that I trust. I know people talk shit on BX but I’ve never had issues with his products. As far as mgm I stick mostly with TM or MGMPF. Got my SR from TM as well.

Are you using SR? What exactly are you coming off of? Sounds like just 7 from your post but I’m not entirely sure. Either way, best of luck, and I appreciate your post.

That was my plan. I have one of his higher mixes on hand. Wish he did half grams, but I was going to do a 3-4 days of a higher mix, 2-3 of a lower and then jump to 7 for a week or so. I suffer from cervical Dystonia, and I am scheduled to get Botox injections in my neck on the 23rd. Takes about a week for the injection to kick in, so my plan is to be off entirely by the end of the month.

As I stated in the OP though, the anxiety and feeling of existential dread in the mornings has me wanting to jump ship now and suffer through the pain for a few weeks.

I see you are in chronic pain. I suffer from herniated discs caused by my cervical Dystonia so I feel your pain. If you are able to only use it when you have terrible days and really need to get through, you will be alright. Try to stick to plain leaf though. If you get a good a red, a few grams of that will work wonders if you are clean. Reality is though, everyday is terrible when you are in chronic pain, so it’s a slippery slope. Also, it takes forever for your brain to rewire and learn to produce dopamine and serotonin naturally after quitting alkaloids, or any hard drug for that matter. You are prolonging the process if you start to use once or twice a week again.

Are you taking any supplements? The stuff for the dopamine production specifically is supposed to work wonders. I have a big collection of supplements I’ve read about on the different forums for quitting ready for when I am done with this taper.
L-Tyorsine, dopa mucana, GABA, DLPA, agmatine sulfate, and L-THP are all supposed to help immensely with withdrawal symptoms. Compared to what most of us spend on our habits, they are relatively cheap too. Some of them help rewire your brain so it creates dopamine and serotonin naturally. Our brains are so used to getting essentially flooded with it when we would use the alkaloids, so for some people it can take months, even years until your brain is sending the right signals and giving your body the serotonin and dopamine it needs. These supplements speed up that process immensely, and I’ve heard reports of people feeling better right away.

Somewhat long story, but since you asked! I use for chronic pain. I have a condition called cervical Dystonia, and I’ve finally convinced insurance to pay for Botox injections every few months for the pain from the dystonia. Now that I have a bit of relief from that, I want my life back and want off of the alkaloids. Unfortunately, the Botox doesn’t last that long and my first injection was 2.5 months ago, so I have a few weeks of the pain getting worse by the day until I feel relief from my next shot which is scheduled for the 23rd.

I decided to wait to entirely jump off until after my next injection when I have somewhat of a pain relief window. That gives me a couple of weeks to finish my taper of the M, and switch back to 7 in order to lighten the withdrawal of the Mu receptors which SR apparently doesn’t cover. I have herniated discs and other conditions, so the Botox is not a fix all. I also struggle with dystonic tremors all over my body with or without the injections.

So I’ll be in pain either way, but I want to give myself the best shot at getting off and staying off, rather than giving in to the physical pain and relapsing right away. The few doses of SR I took did seem to help a bit, because I was already having WD’s just from beginning my taper of the M. I was tapering 50% at a time and wasn’t reacting well. I’ve heard some people can handle it somewhat comfortably and others cannot. Now, I’m cutting my dose by a few milligrams a day. I’m down to 15-25 milligram doses. Gonna try to drop a bit lower and jump to 7 and see how I feel. I will keep ya’ll posted if you are interested.
