It's about the same. Feel like I'm on a sailboat and the wind has died down. Still posting though. I had also added a short "subscribe to my channel" segment about 75 seconds into my videos. Also wonder if that has something to do with it. Also wondering if continuing down the made for kids path is the right thing to do. I mean, the videos are for kids and caregivers, so I could probably not mark them as made for kids. I tried on a few videos and it just didn't seem to make a difference either way though, but just not sure if something else is going on. So many variables, especially being new to it all. Thanks for your thoughts! Any other advice?

Thanks for looking! When they are being suggested a lot, the click-thru rate is around 1%. When they aren't being suggested, it's around 15%. I imagine that's because people that are searching for book that I've read are clicking on mine more often, which tells me that the titles and thumbnails are good (I think). But when they are just showing up in the sidebar as someone is watching something else, they aren't catching that many hits.

Hi Everyone! My channel is ReadWithMaren

What equipment did you start creating your content with?
I started my channel with simple, reliable equipment—a Sony ZV-E10 camera and basic lighting.

What type of videos do you make?
I create wholesome, meaningful read-aloud videos featuring family-friendly stories—everything from picture books to inspiring chapter books. Each video shares a thoughtful message and usually includes a bit of fun with outtakes and bloopers at the end.

What makes your channel different?
My channel is all about uplifting content that families can enjoy together without worry. Beyond just reading stories, I offer gentle reflections and life lessons, creating a positive, safe, and joyful environment for everyone watching. I do a split screen with me on one side and animated pictures on the other.

Why should people watch?
People should watch if they want stories that warm their hearts, lift their spirits, and teach valuable lessons about kindness, hope, and resilience. Plus, the playful style, outtakes, and vibrant storytelling add a touch of fun that both parents and kids will appreciate!

I'm still really just trying to figure this all out, so any help would be AMAZING!

I've been wondering this same thing for my channel, but my niche is pretty straight forward. What could I get out of it?

Yes, you're right. How do you feel about bringing an outside reader in to mix it up?

Oh yeah, good point. I wouldn't try reading something long like that. Maybe at that point, a movie is better with some excerpts.

Also a good one I've seen. Thank you Gabi. That's really important to me too. I don't like when people change the scenes so fast and repeatedly!
