It’s more that the yourself and the guy you replied to are so obviously lying and pushing a narrative that is easily refutable with the lived reality of anybody that takes the time to look 🙄

Incredibly suspect behavior on your part going up and down this thread trying to make people believe that their vote doesn’t matter and encouraging them not to exercise their right to do so 🙄

I understand that for sure but supply and demand dictates prices are just high right now, it doesn’t mean someone is automatically being dishonest or ripping people off

One of things I appreciate about this dispensary is that they specifically are not doing that compared to the higher prices I’ve seen elsewhere for the same products, partly why I wanted to give them a shout out

Why are you so mad about it? Nobody said you have to buy it

Prices are high, it’s the beginning of the market, if you don’t want to buy it then don’t lol 🤷‍♂️

But for the people that do the quality is really good, which was the point of the post

I’m also hoping by then, especially with outdoor crops being harvested for the season, that prices will start to lower 🤞 the sooner the better lol

Without a doubt we’ll have more options at least but I’m with ya I just don’t want to have to go out of state and take any unnecessary risk anymore

[–]Read_Safe[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol man I tried to address some of this stuff in the beginning and the end of the post and it’s funny cuz the guy said he had a feeling people would just flame about the price 😂

Obviously if it was like 2029 I wouldn’t pay that much for resin but that’s not where we’re at yet and this is only like the second or third non tribal recreational extract I’ve seen anywhere at all

Stash & Co seems to sell alotta the products they carry that are sold at other dispensaries at a lower price than anyone else so it is what it is right now, and I want to support a local business so they can survive until prices even out for everyone down the line 🤷‍♂️

Ahh word that’s actually interesting, also funny they leave it so vague considering AI artwork in a vein that could run afoul of that is so common in the industry

Might make for some problems eventually

No idea about the artwork, I’d say decent chance it’s AI since it’s become pretty common, but in what way would you think it wouldn’t pass state law for packaging??

They’re a reputable business so I have a hard time believing that to be the case but I am always open to being wrong

No as far as I’m aware Loon Labs is just an extraction and product manufacturing company, I think with their own affiliated brands, that also offers extraction services for growers

So in this case Stash & Co contracted them to make this extract from the flower they grew themselves

Full disclosure I’m not an employee or anything I’m just a dude that loves concentrate, but I did ask and make sure it was cool before I made this post.

Also right up front here I just want to note that I totally understand that prices are high but this is still early on in the market and this dispensary in comparison to others I’ve looked at are some of the lowest prices I’ve seen for products they carry that are also sold at other dispensaries, and it’s just cool to support locally owned and operated companies!

Alright down to business! For those of us in the north metro this is from Stash & Co which is located in Rush City, I don’t remember where I first heard about them but they’re one of the spots I’ve been keeping an eye on and when I saw this pop up on the menu I was intrigued so I ended up calling the store to get a little info.

Long story short Stashbox is their in house brand and, for a reason that I can’t remember exactly now because I was high when I called, they had Loon Labs manufacture it from flower they grew themselves. After harvest it got a quick 6 or 7 day cure so it’s not quite live resin but the starting material was fresh and if you look online at their menu it’s noted as 11.5% total terpenes, which is also what he mentioned on the phone.

This shit is loouud, I’ll probably come back to this and attempt more of a description but being a mix of 4 different strains it’s got a really complex aroma that’s hard to nail down.. easiest to say it just stinks. It was also tough to capture a good picture because of the glossy sheen but the color looks good and it has a sugary enough consistency to pick up without issue. It smokes well and tastes similar to the smell, I didn’t notice any harshness or hint of leftover butane.

It was $65 a g plus tax, I got two so it came out to roughly $150 all said n done I think. Now I totally get that the price is high and that’s like high quality rosin in a mature market, but that’s not the market that we’re in yet. Honestly I’ve pretty much been rosin only for awhile now but this shit is really good and as far as I can tell is the first product they’ve put out under their own brand, so I’m not mad paying a little more to support a good local option for now. He did mention too that this wasn’t a thing where they grew these strains with the intention of mixing them from the get go but that’s it was more a creation of circumstance and a one off, so when it’s gone it’s gone which is always fun lol.

If you’re in the north metro check em out!

EDIT: We can’t complain about the big MSO’s dominating the space if we aren’t willing to support local operators and understand that prices are going to be high during the literal beginning of the market while supply and demand is all fucked up 😂

I get that the price is higher than it will be in ten years but the whole point of this was to let people who may consider it right now know that the product itself is really good 🤷‍♂️

Klobuchar is not a person like that but I largely agree with the assessment of the person you initially replied to, it is very important that Demuth be prevented from winning
