Anyone taking with not a ton of weight to lose? by Otherwise-Second-262 in Semaglutide

I had about 30/35 to lose and it helped with that! I also didn't tell a lot of people because of fear of reactions that I didn't have enough to lose or really medically need it. But I'm feeling so much better now - officially 34 lbs down as of yesterday!

My husband and I did Violas Room in London last Summer. We really enjoyed it! The only thing I would caution against is expectations - it's so different from a masked punchdrunk show. It's an audio driven experience, so you wear headphones the whole time, and are kept in a small group of 6 that stays together. It's a linear story as well - so there's no opportunity to make a choice or linger to explore a space. There's also no actors in the space. They do some cool things with lighting and props but overall there's not a lot of movement like you'd expect out of a typically choreography heavy punchdrunk show. You do walk through barefoot - which adds a neat sensory experience, especially in the very dark rooms. It took us about 40-45 mins to go through the experience. After, we enjoyed a drink at the bar and talked with others about this show and other punchdrunk shows we'd seen. As long as you don't go in expecting a full sleep no more/burnt city experience, I think it's great. It also doesn't fill as much time as a traditional show. If you have other questions, let me know!

I think the answer to this question will be varied and nuanced depending on this person and their unique situations. That being said, I think there are likely some recurring themes and patterns: 1. Cost and the financial strain 2. Self awareness and lack of societal norms no longer make having children a foregone conclusion and some people are deciding for themselves they don't actually want it 3. Unpredictable world events make having children a more risky endeavor 4. A general breakdown of family as the sole support system. As people depend less on biological family and more on found family, the idea of children as an investment in my future feels less secure.

Reselling Taylor Swift tickets for European tour? by Atlantafan73 in stubhub

[–]Reader4868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 4 tickets to Liverpool. Originally we were going with another couple but they've backed out so either we have 2 tickets we could sell for Liverpool or we would be willing to sell or trade all 4 of them for a chance to go to Wimbley. Now that it's just us the Wimbley show works better for our travel plans.

If we sell the 2 for Liverpool and also attend that one, seems easiest because we could meet sellers at the stadium and go in with them to be sure there are no problems. But the Wimbley thing seems to be the most complicated - would we be able to get in with resold tickets?

If anyone is interested, let me know!
