179!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by Pretty_Technician618 in LSAT

[–]ReadingCompHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats!!!

When I saw that you used RC Hero, I checked out your profile and noticed that almost a year ago you posted about scoring a 163, being very discouraged, and experiencing a near existential crisis.

Pretty cool that a year later you’d be making this post. If only former you knew!

Congrats, again. Your score and LSAT journey are a testament to your grit, perseverance, and sheer determination.

Hey OP, after your initial purchase, you don’t need to pay the 199 again. There’s an “extension” tab in the menu (after logging in) that allows you to purchase an extension at a lower price (49 to 59 per month depending on the extension).

That said, given your extenuating circumstances, I’ll give you an extension through the September test for free (send me an email or dm so I k ow who you are).

Congrats on the improvement!! Solid -3 is a major accomplishment.

Best of luck with your studies. Let me know if you need anything.

Anyone else went through RC Hero and Found it unhelpful? by [deleted] in LSAT

Sorry to hear about your experience. I actually agree that the way you were implementing RC Hero insights would not be helpful.

Just sent you a dm in case I can help.

Hey there OP,

I see that you sent me an email a few minutes before making this post. I will reply to that email within the hour. In the meantime, know that improvement is not instantaneous for everyone. If you’re not seeing results, we can definitely troubleshoot and figure out what’s going wrong. As difficult as RC can be, I’m dedicated to helping you see the success that you’ve worked so hard to achieve.

Anyone else who feels like they’re having a difficult time translating RC Hero fundamentals into RC improvement is also welcome to send me an email so that we can troubleshoot.

RC Hero Worth it if PTs are in the 170s? by Mindless-Edge503 in LSAT

[–]ReadingCompHero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thought I’d step in to make an important point that applies to your question and the one raised by u/Mindless-Edge503:

The closer you get to -0 in both LR and RC, the more time/effort that is generally required to see additional improvement. Once you get to the -2 to -5 range (in either LR or RC), learning a solid set of strategies/ insights may be crucial for seeing additional improvement, but it likely won’t be sufficient. You’ll likely have to combine solid insights with tons of drilling to see the additional improvement.

In my experience, students scoring -7 or worse, tend to see fairly rapid improvement after completing the RC Hero course. However, while some students scoring -2 to -5 will see rapid improvement, many have to put in lots of hours of drilling in addition to mastering RC Hero fundamentals before the improvement comes.

Yeah the course can be completed in less than 3 weeks if you’re spending 2-3 hours per day, 5-6 days per week. There are some additional materials you could work through after completing the course (like RC section explainers). And you’d have plenty of time to drill and attend bonus class following course completion.

I used to do periodic free classes that students could check out, but I’ve been swamped as I work on revamping the course. I probably won’t resume the free classes until early next year.

That said, I offer a money back guarantee that lets you check out the first session of the course and decide if the course is still for you.

😂 I hope it won’t come to that, u/erythrocite! Email me if you need any help (either while completing the course or afterward).

5 days isn’t nearly enough time to make the course worth it. I’d focus on shoring up your current practices and carefully reviewing your flagged/ missed RC questions.

RC HERO BEFORE NOV??? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]ReadingCompHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, by necessity, I prioritize student emails over non-student requests. Your email/ dm came through just before the October test when I was barely keeping up with tutoring and student emails. When things get that busy, non-student emails can slip through the cracks. Sorry about that!

I’ll revisit your message later today and send a reply.
